Sears Canada: BlackBerry PlayBook shipping April 10th, pre-orders begin tomorrow

According to an email offer being sent to Sears Canada affiliates, Research In Motion’s highly anticipated BlackBerry PlayBook tablet will begin shipping on April 10th — the launch date we reported exclusively earlier this month. The email offers recipients the opportunity to pre-order the device beginning tomorrow, March 12th. The PlayBook at Sears… okay. We’ve reached out to RIM and will update this post with any comment it provides.

    Please note that the information about the Playbook launch dates posted above is incorrect. While Sears Canada will be selling the Playbook, the date that pre-orders will start and the date that the Playbook will be available for sale are not yet confirmed.

    Also if you look they have 2 incorrect uses of the word PlayBook and BlackBerry there spelled Playbook and Blackberry in the above email, any copy writer would have cough this in 2 seconds. This is not a legitimate email, either that it’s a draft that was sent to copy to be approved before changes were made.
