Motorola XOOM OS upgrade hits this evening, brings Flash 10.2 support

Motorola’s corporate Twitter account just sent out a tweet announcing that the Motorola XOOM will be receiveing an OTA software upgrade later today. The expected enhancements? Improvements for daylight savings time (change your clocks on Saturday, y’all) and support for the upcoming Adobe Flash 10.2 release. The OTA will hit XOOM tablets later on in the evening and your device can be updated over 3G or Wi-Fi.

      I’m sure you already know this, but I will reiterate it. You turn flash to on demand, is the same thing as click to flash on mozilla firefox. No adverse effects on the battery. Do not trash technology that you’re completely ignorant of, at least when I talk ill of an iphone I have owned 1 before, and continue to teach people to use them monthly.

        I’ve been working crazy hours in the past couple weeks. I still try to pop in on breaks. I love this place, people are so stupid and passionate, you’ve got good trolls, and more apple sales figures that you can shake a stick at. Did You see that kid today, nefan65? He evidently just learned that the internet is an avenue for protected racism.
        Our petty disagreements aside, that is awesome that you are a big lebowski fan. I saw a guy on here earlier as franklin bluth, if you ask me that takes the cake.

    I just came from the verizon store and played with both the motorola zoom and ipad 2. Both great devices…. but the ipad is almost sold out and the xoom sold 7 devices for the week.

I just point out the amazing capabilities of Android especially when you compare it to the inept iOS, which Goofans (aka Apple Haters) around the world believe it’s created by kids with all kinds of restrictions.     i like the xoom… but i just wish they had more price options (wifi only, less memory, etc.) to meet the variety of the target audiences. ipad2 is pretty cool, too, of course. but, i find it ironic… pitiful actually… that most apple buyers (real graphic intensive users excluded) choose to live in this dystopia… they have become EXACTLY that which apple launched their image off against with their 1984 superbowl commercial. a true side-by-side checklist of features b/w the two devices i think would lean away from the ipad2. and the same would be the case with virtually any smartphone vs. the iphone (again, except maybe not if you’re a graphic intensive user or photographer… then, maybe the retina display is appropriate). anyway, rambling here… i think i will wait about another couple of months before plunging into the “pad/tablet” market. but, at the moment, the checklist leans toward xoom, except for price options :-/
