The 1920 x1200 resolution for the 15″ model, if true, is sweet!

Am I wrong, but is the grafic-power shrinking? Radeon 256MB with 1GB dedicated isn´t that good, hm?

They are just starting to catch up with everyone else. It’s too bad really, they do build quality machines but they have continued new innovations since they started developing entertainment gadgets. I have a laptop with an i7 and 3 SSD two in a striped RAID and USB 3. I was just looking at a MAC the other day I like it but I can do better cost wise on a custom built PC and get everything I want and more, plus things that I will never use for a 800 fewer dollars. But I would love to own one just one time they are great looking machines. BootCamp would also save me a lot of cash by not having to re-spend dollars for MAC OS applications and some developers allow you to cross over during upgrades…..Its a tough choice.

I will say this for them – They are built to last! My old G4 17in Powerbook is still going strong. The only downfall is that nothing is written to a non-intel mac anymore. And I do have a nagging question: Why do they come in just under the gun in some of the specs? 750 instead of 1TB HDD. – I mean c’mon guys… I understand the mystique of snob appeal but let’s face it, you could always get more bang for fewer bucks with a WPC. Still, you have to do a Mac at least once in your life…it’s the best!
