RadioShack to price Motorola Atrix 4G at $150, no mail-in rebate required

Thinking about picking up the Atrix 4G next week? Listen up. According to RadioShack’s Facebook page, the company will be offering Motorola’s latest and greatest Android handset for a very reasonable $149.99 on launch day, February 22nd. The post notes that this is an “instant pricing” offer, meaning you won’t have to clip, cut, staple, and/or fill out mail-in rebate forms. For those not in the know, that is $50 less than what AT&T will be selling the device for once released. The company will also be offering the Atrix’s laptop-dock accessory for $329.99 when bundled together ($479.98 total) — a $20 discount on AT&T’s pricing. If you have a local RadioShack and are going to be purchasing the Atrix 4G, why not save yourself a little green, no?

I bet a lot of ppl are pissed they pre-ordered for $200. I still wont look into this until i get to see what letstalk and/or wirefly has it going for, because i think it will be a lot less on those sites. Lol i wonder how long until Amazon has it for a penny…my bet is on 2 weeks.

Nice phone! Why did AT&T block its ability to install apps not from the market place? It seems counter Android.

Cause AT&T took advantage of Android openness.

you cannot keep your unlimited data if you upgrade at amazonwireless, wirefly or letstalk. try it go to amazon. even before you give them and specific account information they tell you right there. i called them and they told me the same thing ” we understand you have the unlimited data, but it’s not in our system.”
