Verizon delays launch of Thunderbolt and LTE hotspot feature?

General

According to fresh intel acquired by blog Droid-Life, Verizon Wireless has delayed the release of the HTC Thunderbolt from February 14th to a future date listed as to-be-determined. The memo, which was presumably sent out to retail employees, does not indicate why the handset’s go-live date has changed. The communication goes on to note that the LTE mobile hotspot feature will also be delayed. Originally set to launch on the 17th of February, the feature’s date is now also listed as TBD. Not great news for Verizon fans. Feel free to vent your frustrations in the comments.

I can’t believe this happened, I just put my deposit down at best buy to get this phone. I hope they delayed the phone so they could put in the Tegra dual core processor in there.

No possible way, they have already manufactured 500k of these phones already. A snapdragon dual core would be sick, but its too late in the game for a major change like that, still possible though, like 2%. If they did we wont see it until November.

This launch is a failure. I want this phone now. On a side note: all the iPhone trolls on here are exceptionally homo and anoying.

How about you keep your bigotry and homophobia to the skinhead forums you frequent.
