Reminder: Verizon Wireless iPhone 4 pre-orders start tomorrow

mobile

Apple has issued a reminder — as if we need one — that Verizon Wireless’ upcoming iPhone 4 will become available to pre-order starting tomorrow. We already detailed Verizon’s procedure for iPhone pre-orders, which the carrier will begin accepting at 3:00AM EST tomorrow, and now Apple has confirmed that it too will take pre-orders online. Pre-orders are on a first come, first served basis and are available to current Verizon Wireless subscribers only. Though no one knows how much inventory is available for pre-order, we can surely expect an announcement at some point tomorrow saying that pre-orders are sold out — regardless of how many orders are taken. Verizon Wireless’ iPhone 4 goes on sale for new and existing subscribers at 7:00AM local time on February 10th. Hit the jump for Apple’s press release and don’t forget to set those alarms.

Who Cares !!!!!!!! Verizon will have plenty of their sorry network iPhones for sale, there will be NO lines to purchase, nobody wants a phone thats on a slow network except for Verizon owners who are used to the turtle pace.
    ATT RULES!!!!!

    • Bringit

Word! Who cares about dropped calls! Who cares about being over charged for data! ATT is the shee-att!

      • Anonymous

Is that all you’ve got? What’s the best complaint to get out of a contract? Hmmm, bad service? Don’t believe the hype. I’ve been with AT&T for over 5 years now and their one of the better carriers for service. As far as the overages for data, why do you think Verizon is even changing their data plans just in time for the iPhone. Next argument!!

      • Tcoche

you cant be serious?? ha ha ha

      • Bringit

Is that all I’ve got? Really? What more do I need? And you are wrong – Vzw did not change their data plans. So, you’ve got nothing.

      • Rjmjr72

i was with att and cingular for 4 years and had all 3 iphones..nothing but dropped calls and poor data speeds ..was happy to pay out of that contract..Att is terrible

      agreed

Their campaign slogan should have been “seeing is believing” not it begins.

“Apple has issued a reminder — as if we need one”
Well you felt like your readers need one…

Only idiots will buy the Verizon iPhone 4 given the upcoming iPhone update…

So in other words, they will sell millions.

  • Tom

I can’t wait for the phone to launch! It means my call quality is gonna get alot better and my data speeds on my Att iPhone are gonna get even faster!!! It’s gonna be awesome listening to everyone who wanted the Vzw iPhone bitch while I walk out with my HSPA+ iPhone this summer!!! Which Verizon WILL NOT GET, cause apple will not launch 2 iPhones for them with in 5 months!!! So we can stop that rumor now before it starts!!!

    • jm

I agree 100% Thats why I’m stick with At&t. All those hungry data users will jam up their data network.

Does anyone know if existing VZ customers can purchase tonight/tomorrow morning if they just want to add a line to their plan, or is tomorrow for upgrades only?

    • Flashboy131

Just upgrades on the 3rd, I am available for upgrade but not my wife and we’re both on VZN. Check online at VZN’s site.

      • Anonymous

Just had a chance to call VZ customer service…rep told me upgrades AND people adding a line can purchase tonight.

  • IPHONEFTW

    OMFG I HAVE AN IBONERRRRRRRRRRRRR

I can’t wait to tease the Verizon newcomers. They’ll have to hang up to do simple tasks. They’ll have to hang up to use fandango, super pages, and let’s not forget to get push notifications. I can get sports scores, while I’m on the phone. I can get emails while on the phone. And I can send and receive pictures, while on the phone. Not to mention how slow it will be, lol. AT&T is tha bomb!!!

    • Batteman87

Wow… Can’t tell you how many times I have to tell my friends I have to call you back because I am jones’ing to surf the web, looking for a sports score, or looking for directions! LOL Lame.

    • KCRic

Well here on tmobile I can do that too. The difference is, we’re not yuppies that actually feel the need to try and look cool by doing that. I’m sure my ‘sports scores’ and other mundane passtimes can wait 1 minute for me to complete a phone call. Maybe you’re one of those attention whores that feed on constant idiotic facebook posts like ‘the packers just scored a TD!!!!’. No shit, really?! I must have missed that on my 50″ 1080p plasma.

      • Anonymous

        lol tmobile.

      • rawrrrmonster

lol people still use superpages? i’ve never used fandango, and sports i like to watch on tv not numbers updated once in a while on my phone. When i’m on the phone i like to pay attention to the people i talk to, cause thats what you do as a human being.

  • http://www.myvouchercodes.co.uk online shopping uk

It is quite intersting to see what will be the response of this pre-orders? Because the repute of version is not good on the other hand At&T customers are quite satisfied with their device performance..

    • Gotta love VZW

LOL You should have ended this with /sarcasm. I still laughed… Thank you for that.

      • rawrrrmonster

i dunno what hes trying to say….. there are too many spelling mistakes.

  • KCRic

Hey… you umm, want to post another story on this? Oh wait, this is the other story and I’m sure you have another one in the works.

    • Anonymous

      amen

  • 9117

Sorry but does this pre-order also mean pre-delivery? meaning will people who order their iphones at 3am get their phones tomorrow as well?

    • Bringit

      Feb 10th or sooner.

  • Hilljack911

Too many bugs in the 1st version! I’ll stay with at&t

  • Hilljack911

Too many bugs in the 1st version! I’ll stay with at&t

    • Gotta love VZW

Too many posts from this user! I’ll ignore his lies.

Seriously though, are we not seeing the same OS that is already on the current devices? Unless you expect to see bugs with the CDMA antenna like we saw with the GSM version.

      • KCRic

Well they do have a record….

  • QNX Please

Thanks BGR…Just in case we didn’t remember your 47 other articles abut the Verizon iPhone in the last month. Who really cares about the Verizon iPhone. There are better phones available on Verizon.

    • Gotta love VZW

In case you haven’t noticed a ton of people care about this phone. This would be why they continue to post on the issue. I love how ignorant people feel that every article must be relevant to themselves. I personally thank BGR for continually reminding me that this awesome device will soon be in my hands!

      • rawrrrmonster

i’m getting it for the music player, i hate having to carry my droid incredible and my ipod touch at the same time to listen to music

  • Apple Fanboy

I’ll be waiting at my computer for most of the night, ready to get in on this goodness. Goodbye at&t!!!
