Rogers Wireless will add Dell Venue Pro to handset lineup in March

Exclusive

One of our illusive ninjas from the North has just informed us that Canada’s largest wireless provider, Rogers, will begin carrying Dell’s Venue Pro sometime next month. For those in need of a quick refresher: the Venue Pro is a full-QWERTY, portrait slider running Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 operating system on a 4.1-inch AMOLED display. No word on what the VP will cost with and without subsidies, but we’ll keep digging and let you know if we come up with anything.

Does coming to Rogers mean this will be compatible with ATT? I love my Surround but god I’ve wanted this ever since I first saw it! Still hoping the rumors come true that will come to ATT.

    …And will charge $1000 on a 3-year contract. In other news…

    Another colossal mistake!
First it’s Dell, second, it runs on Windows 7 mobile …a double kiss of death.

And I guess third, it’s Rogers!

What happened to all those Dell phones that were leaked or demo’d MONTHS ago?
I would be interested in the full touch screen Windows 7 phone, solid OS with good bones.

    That phone is awesome.

    Rogers is Satan.

Now that a carrier is selling the phones directly, someone ask them how much RAM that thing has.
Dell can avoid the question and piss people off, but a carrier who wants to sign contracts needs to be able to explain to customers.
