White iPhone 4 appears in AT&T’s online system

Exclusive

It looks like Best Buy isn’t the only retailer with white iPhones popping up in its system. AT&T is now showing two versions of Apple’s unicorn-colored iPhone. The entries appear in AT&T’s Online Account Management system (OLAM), and read as “iPhone 4 – 16GB White” and “iPhone 4 – 32GB White.” While the carrier’s online account tool obviously wouldn’t include any indication as far as when we might expect white iPhone 4 models to hit the store shelves, it’s looking like late February or early March at this point. You know — just enough time to lock subscribers into new two-year contracts and then have them freak out a few months later when the next-generation iPhone is announced.

Hmm, but I read the news from iFunia that the iPhone 5 will be released this summer, and kind of features are revealed, so I think why they don’t release it along with iPhone 5? It’s going to be difficult for the white color fans to withstand it and it’ll get them into hassles such as selling their existing black iP4s for the sake of purchasing a white iP4…

If you’ve waited this long for a white iPhone 4 just wait fro the iPhone 5!

FWIW, the white IPhone 4′s SKU has been in the sales system since last summer since that color scheme should’ve been launched shortly after. Therefore this story is moot.

I spoke to the east coast sales manager from the “Cupertino-based firm” who said that the company wouldn’t really focus much on the white version cause its cheaper to make a black one (more coats of paint needed for white version) with more than enough demand.

Personally, IF a white version is released it’d just be to milk the cash cow furtherif sales slow down before the release of a newer version..

    Just my $.02
