Apple seeds iOS 4.3 beta 2 to developers

Software

It looks like Apple has seeded iOS 4.3 beta 2 to developers. Just last week, the company released the first beta of its popular mobile operating system into its developer portal. The new beta adds Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities for GSM iPhones amongst other things. If you have an Apple Developer account, go have yourself a download and be sure to let us know what you find.

It’s also important to note that Apple has stated the gestures will not be part of the 4.3 final release. They are including gestures in the betas to developers can test them.

Hopefully the hardware switch option to have it either mute or lock the orientation will be part of the final release.

Looks like it might be time for me to sell my 2nd generation iPod Touch before Apple stops supporting it altogether.

probably the new iphone 4 form verizon would be out with 4.3 instead of 4.2.5 coz there is no reason to have 2 same devices with different FWs :)
