    Thanks for posting this

  • laserbomb

this is a change log detailing the difference from a previous internal build of 4.3 to the current build of 4.3 — absolutely useless for people outside of Apple.

    why post this?

    • laserbomb

i guess the few known issues at the top

  • http://pimpmyi.com/ iPimp

So many bugs, so little time.

mmm the only thing that caught my eye was the news of a new status bar icon. I just wish that was the place for notifications, ala android.

pulling the sim out while doing wifi hotspot seems like a don’t do….so the fact it panics makes sense….

  • Xian Newman

Really, Apple, just one Exchange bug fix?

    • http://twitter.com/BenjaminZAMayo Benjamin Mayo

Not necessarily. This shows the fixes from the last internal beta of 4.3

This document does not confirm nor disprove that more Exchange bugs were fixed since 4.2.

  • Anonymous

Hmmm, no fixes for sukky 3g coverage in manhattan.

    • Anonymous

A fix for that was announced on 1/11/11 at 11:00

  • Goforaride

No fix for holding DHCP lease times?

No fix for New Years alarm bug?

No fix for non-release of IP after lease expiration (iPad/iPhone)?

    • http://twitter.com/N301DQ MRCUR

Keep in mind – this changelog is from an internal 4.3 build to the first public beta build. We don’t know how many things have been changed/fixed since the public release of 4.2.1.

  • Nickongpauco

Is this the full change log? I wonder if they fixed the Exchange problem iPads were having for when a message had 2 or more attachments and they could not be viewed

  • elppa

And yet they still forgot to fix the Alarm clock. The next daylight saving is coming up soon.

    • ThatGuy

This is an internal document showing changes made since build iOS 4.3 8F5132f. Presumably an Alpha build. Since it doesn’t show what is actually in build 8F5132f it doesn’t give a complete picture of what is fixed/changed since 4.2.x

  • Sonnyjames

Will they fix missing closed captioning from YouTube?

  • Tigersingh52

this is just to show you unstable the ios software on APPLE iDEVICE really are.

    • http://twitter.com/ChazClout ChazClout

      Its a beta.

      • Tigersingh52

        and your point?
ios have more bugs than anyother os ever.

      • Anonymous

Do you a study or evidence to back up your claims?

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_NTRKIQBIY3AGEOG2JMPS3P6HRI Dan

You obviously have never used Android. If you Google “Android Bug List” it will take you to all the reported bugs/defects for Android. There are currently over 9,000 reported bugs for Android. A little knowledge can your perspective quite a bit if you let it.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_NTRKIQBIY3AGEOG2JMPS3P6HRI Dan

You have no clue how OS/Software testing works do you. Have you actually gone out and looked for the bug list for Android? Or Rim? Or Microsoft? You probably didn’t and you probably know as much about Release Management as the tightly wrapped coil my dog left in the back yard this morning. Which means you don’t know shit about what you are talking about and are more than likely just a retarded fanboy for whatever your chosen platform happens to be. There should be a bridge nearby, jump mother jump.

Dan I trust you will be providing compensation to my employer for the keyboard I just spat my coffee on from laughing at this.. seriously they’re really mad.

If it freezes up less than my DX I would be happy

ALL OF THE IPHONE BOYS & GIRLS FANS SAY SYMBIAN DEAD NOW WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT ALL OF THESE BUGS.

    • http://twitter.com/zc456 Zenon Tigerpaw

      1. Stop shouting. 2. Symbian isn’t immune from bugs ether. No operating system is perfect, just like humans. And since humans developed Symbian, it isn’t perfect ether.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_NTRKIQBIY3AGEOG2JMPS3P6HRI Dan

I develop for Symbian and yes Symbian is dead. They replaced it with Meego.

Where can i download 4.3 without being dev?

    • Anonymous

Generally, it won’t work. You have to be on the dev list with a “key” generated from you phone… trying to load dev builds without being on that list generally creates a bad day for you

      • E$F

what were they releasing before not apple itself but some sites were giving people access to it free

      • Anonymous

you’ll see gold master builds on the net more often than true beta builds. gold master builds don’t require you to be on the dev list.

      • E$F

        ok thanks

    • http://twitter.com/CrunchDude Crunch

      BitTorrent?

  • http://twitter.com/CiberGnome GioVa

I can wait to try the full version of the iOS 4.3 in my iPhone 4

    • http://twitter.com/CiberGnome GioVa

      I dont like Beta

What happened to the iPhone 3G is a grim reminder of what will eventually happen to all iOS devices as they age. My $700 is a waste. iOS 4 has stole the whole experience off from my 3G.

Even android phones coming at 1/3rd the price are faster than the iPhone 3G. Its a disgrace to Apple that it even continues to sell the iPhone 3G as of Jan’ 11 for a full $700 here in India especially after the shame iOS 4 has brought to the device.

    • http://twitter.com/CrunchDude Crunch

How much is a 3GS over there?

    • Jon

And aren’t there ways to downgrade?

  • CodeBlitz

Where is the Alarm clock fix? They only fixed the Calender All Day alarm message, which is not the Clock Alarm issue. My alarms are still going off an hour early and this is now April 2011. I deleted all my alarms and deactivated everything. Even with fresh new alarms, they still activate an hour early. Seems Apple is content with not resolving this issue until iOS 5.0.
