More images of Sony Ericsson’s new X10 Mini Pro surface

Chinese forum IT168 is at it again, with more leaked images of Sony Ericsson’s refreshed X10 Mini Pro. Previous rumors have the next-generation Mini Pro packing a 1GHz CPU with an independent GPU, 3-inch 320 x 480 pixel touchscreen display, and Google’s latest Android 2.3 operating system. From the images we’ve seen, it also looks like the hanset will have a front-facing camera for video calling and a rear-facing camera of an undisclosed pixel count (although judging by the “HD” label, we’re guessing it has to be at least 5 megapixels). There is one more picture of the device’s posterior after the break. Have a look and let us know what you think!

Keyboard looks nice, and debuting with 2.3 is a plus.

If it wasn’t for “LOW VOLUME” comments in reviews for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 I’d have bought it. I tried a LG Quantum Windows phone instead and although it had good volume in the ear speaker for conversation I missed three calls because I couldn’t hear it “ring” or because it could not receive a good enough signal in the same spot the old Samsung Eternity works fine from. There were many other reasons I did not like the Quantum so it went back and I’m still shopping for a new phone … this one has my interest.
