Verizon iPhone event happens tomorrow at 11AM!

It’s been four years and a day since Apple announced its revolutionary mobile device, the iPhone. It’s also been four years and one day since Verizon Wireless customers have been begging for Apple’s mobile phone, and it looks as if tomorrow will be the day that all ends. We’re expecting Apple’s iPhone to get announced for Verizon Wireless’ network with availability around February 3rd.     It’s not one website being wrong that would be funny…It’s the hundreds of you PLAYA HATERS being wrong when this story does in fact prove true on 1/11/11 @ 11:00 am.     The best thing that will come of this is the consumer revelation that 3G and 4G are just words that providers use, and not all 3G/4G is created equal. It’s been a long time since iconic handsets were availible on multiple carriers. The rubber meets the road with all the 3G/4G nasty ads an such.

    Oh dear could this be true? Please someone tell me…if I stand in line long enough will Steve Jobs appear and heal me? Would he personally take the money from my hand and exchange it for an iPhone 4 on Verizon? I am quivering at the very thought now! This changes everything. More power, more women! I’m already feeling the healing power and I’m not even in line yet. Oh say its true. Everyone get down on one knee and pray with me that the iPhone 4 launches on Verizon tomorrow!!!!

    If this is the VZW iPhone, which lets face it is. I don’t think its a windows phone 7 announcement, Verizon is still recovering from the burn they got from the Kin’s. Lets face it even if a 6 month old device, the average consumer doesn’t give a crap as long as it has the apple logo on it people will buy it. Its a shame Verizon had a good thing going with the Droid line.

    I will never ever get why people want the Iphone, well i mean i sorta do as i get that people want it just cause its an Iphone though that excuse is rather ignorant, its just from a tech standpoint the phone isn’t that great at all and if you’re on Verizon why not just go with a Droid, they’re cheaper and tech wise much better and you get a much broader selection of droids instead of just one Iphone. Yeah having used my fiancees Iphone and having used my Droid X i just don’t get the appeal and why there’s so much demand for an Iphone other than OMG its by Apple and it has the letter “I” infront of it therefor it must be good. :/

    Verizon to launch anything right now that is not 4G-LTE.. Is pointless!! I’m sure Verizon has done there homework to make the iPhone desirable for us,using the latest greatest technology.Verizon is launching several 4G handsets this year that would easily destroy any EVDO technology in their past.

      VoLTE isn’t happening for a while now, but do know that both Verizon and Sprint will use 1X Advanced/SVDO technology, which will make the wait seem irrelevant. As a business standpoint, old iphone or not, this move is automatic millions and huge + towards customer subscriptions. Sprint gets the iphone, and they would get more customers switching for it, then their successful EVO launch. It is what it is.

      My boy is on Verizon, and wanted a iPhone for 3 years. He refused to upgrade his POS BlackBerry Storm. I told him that VZW has and will have some of the sickest Android phones out, so why keep going hard for the iphone. His reply? Anything Apple makes is hot, or iphone is the epitome of style. This was my boy since Pre-K. Steve Jobs just laughing in the background.
