Damn… I left my MacBook at home today

Every site is covering Apple again today. Here I thought things would be different this week because of CES. I suppose when there is only one company in demand it is to be expected though. Congrats to Apple for finally becoming the T-Rex they should have been all along.

Apple is a company that most either love or hate, therefore it generates traffic. Other companies that many people are indifferent to don’t generate web traffic. That’s why everyone posts Apple centric news.

Thank you Len for that bit. I agree about the love/hate thought. Although I will just say I like the company. After purchase service has been spectacular on each Apple product my wife and I have owned.

Less than 10% market share on the Desktop.
Less than 5% market share for overall cell phone market.

All this attention and still plenty of room to grow.

So, market share doesn’t really mean anything. Except when Jobs talks about iPhone and iPad and iPod, then it means everything.

Fck that. I’m still waiting on Apple to come clean about the defective 2006 iMac they sold me.

According to Apples site “You can install apps on every Mac you use and even download them again.” Does this mean all those apps that are technically licenced for use on one machine can now be used on many?

So now they’re engaging in pirating their developers’ software. Someone DMCA them.

just installed the update, now I can get Angry Birds on my mac

  • ryan

I though that was going to be like MacUpdate Desktop, I mean that it would update all the app that I have on my computer. I have to buy like all my apps on the Mac store so he can check for the updates. that sucks, I don’t like it

ummm this is what the internet is for…. I can get all these games, info, etc for free. You’d have to be a retard to install “Apps” on your computer when that same function is done on the internet. The reason Apps are good for phones or tablets is the poorer internet experience. The only thing this would be usefull for is having full fledged games or programs for download so I don’t have to walk to a store. But even then many programs and games are downloadable anyways.

Who knew launching birds with special powers from a slingshot onto pigs who have built elaborate forts would become a smash hit? It really is the game that keeps on giving. 70-659
