Apple’s market cap passes $300 billion

Apple’s stock is up around 7 points at the time this post was published, and you know what that means… the company’s market cap is now above $300 billion. The actual number is more like $302 billion, but who’s counting a measly two billion at this point, right? Shares of Apple are trading at around $330 which is a new record high for the company. Analyst expectations are that Apple has set new sales records for the holiday quarter, and that’s most definitely baked into the stock price. Apple will report their fiscal first quarter results on January 18th.

      We have it directly from the devil himself, Steve Jobs, that the company WILL be closing shop in about 12 months. Norm and I met with Steve in a very teary meeting in which he apologized but not aligning with the savior, Eric Schmidt! We didn’t forgive him though. We couldn’t make a decision like that in good conscience knowing that ALL Goofans (aka Apple Haters) wouldn’t sign off on an apology acceptance.

    Seriously…. Where was the report about Apple being sued? Where was the report about the iPhone screwing up thousands of peoples day over the weekend when their iPhone alarm setting work properly?

    At first I thought the accusations of BGR being biased towards Apple was unfounded. But if you want to at least “appear” to be unbiased, you should consider reporting the flip side of the coin too.

    You guys really need to learn your business. Apple is not up “7 points”. It was up 2.18% at that time (or 218 “basis” points) which is equal to $7.03 a share. Jeez.

    This is a total lie, I mean this can’t possibly be true since most people here say Apple will be filing for Chapter 11 soon and Google will buy them out. I don’t believe anything good about apple. I only believe Goofan and Norm simply because Droid Does.
