Aston Martin releases iPhone app, revs virtual engines

If you’re a car lover, there’s a good chance you’re a fan of the British sports car manufacturer, Aston Martin. The company has just released an iPhone app called Aston Martin Explore that’s packed full of content and fun features like exclusive videos, photos of its entire car lineup including heritage and racing cars, and much more. You can tour the Aston Martin factory, use an on-screen accelerator to rev up your own virtual Aston Martin to try and redline it, and of course, stay up on the latest official company news as well as check out official Twitter and Facebook updates from within the app. Plus, if the app finally pushes you over the edge, you can even arrange a test drive with your local dealer with only a few taps.

    Useless app is useless.

“…you can even arrange a test drive with your local dealer with only a few taps.”

If only it were that easy…

Can’t see anyone owning an Aston Martin using an app like that…

If Aston Martin wants to extend the reach of their brand and have people show their passion for their vehicles, CarZar is the app they should use. (There’s even an Aston Martin badge users can unlock!)

Aston Martin should be embarrassed by this.
