BlackBerry Bold 9780 hits Wind Mobile’s inventory system

Exclusive

If you’re a Canadian BlackBerry enthusiast on Wind Mobile, we’ve got some good news for you. One of our ninjas from the north has just alerted us that the Bold 9780 has just populated Wind’s inventory system. Couple the above screen shot with rumors of extremely low BlackBerry 9700 stock levels — thanks in part to a buy-one get-one (BOGO) promotion — and we would venture to say this puppy will be hitting store shelves in the very near future. As a quick refresher, the Bold 9780 packs Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 5 megapixel camera, 512MB of RAM, and runs RIM’s BlackBerry 6 operating system. Let us know if you’re planning on picking one up!

Thanks, anonymous!

Everyone saw it coming it was only a matter of time before they went ahead with the upgrade.

Updates are nice and all, but RIM surely must know that there’s nothing remotely ‘BOLD’ about any of there handsets at this point.

      More like the Blackberry Blah.

Yeah, it totally sucks when it comes to playing games and watching video. Garbage!

Than buy an iphone if you want games and movies. This device is not for that.

So it’s official, AT&T will be the last carrier in the world to get this!

Who the hell cares about these old technology packed Blackberries anymore!
Personally, the fact that somebody “leaked ” info about the same device-with-different-name that basically every carrier in the US has already is not big news!! Blackberry needs to really step up its game and come up with some good devices for 2011 and do some damage against the competition!! They should be embarrassed that they still can’t put out a 1Ghz phone out there, better screen resolution along with larger size and decent amount of good apps on their AppWorld.

Yeah, how can you do all the secure emails and multitask when you don’t even have 1Ghz procesor and high rez screen? Hey, RIM, do you know what people want? They want minimum 1Ghz processor (dual core, if possible, please) and AMOLED/Retina type screen so that they can play games and watch video. RIM, you are so out of touch with what people want to do with their ‘smartphone’. I mean, if all we want to do with a phone is allow us to work more efficiently while giving us a little bit of multimedia capability to enjoy some music and take some snap shots, we would ask for…oh, wait…nevermind.

Actually getting almost 100 of them for my company, as a replacement of our 2 year old 8310. We are testing them just from premiere in TMobile. Any problems. Super 6.0
