      LOL

      Butthurt Xbot. Love it!

5.5 million sold in just 12 days. GT5 is selling faster than the 11.2 million selling GT4.

      13-16 million lifetime sales easily.

You do realize the Xbox completely decimated the PS3 in sales for November. and you want another fun fact? Fable 3 which has been out for over a year. Outsold GT5 last month lol.

Hard to say last month when it was only out for what a week of it?

  • The1nChicago

Why can’t sites like these report facts? Sold does not equal shipped. So the title should be restated as-Sony: Over 5.5 million copies of Gran Turismo 5 Shipped so far

Gran Turismo has always bored me. I could never figure out why would anyone want to simulate real driving if real driving is available by simply riding a car on the street.

Arcade driving games are way more fun, at least for me.

Do you have a M-B SLS AMG? Do you drive said car at 220 mph on the street?

      Duh.

I wonder how this goes up against Need For Speed HP

It’s so pathetic that Sony lured people into holding out for a PS3 by showing this game. Years later it finally is released.

    What a joke.

    How is WiiSports still selling!!!!

GT5 only for collection not for playing… game play quality is … geeze… its like nintendo gamboy…. they should learn how to create a good racing game, not a demo game…
for example : no speeding and late braking experience… car cornering looks crappy… if this is selling fast and good.. thts good… i hope they play it… not just put it at the corner or coz ps3 dont hv a good racing game.. wait it has.. NF Shift… yeah… but a lot of details are missing compare to xbox 360… and gameplay somehow totally weird on ps3…
sony like to screw game play quality whn it converted to sony console… for ex, lemans24hours.. v v nice on dreamcast… n tottaly weird on ps3… gosh… a lot of things were missing… and it still continue to maintain this quality…
if you fan of GT (I was), try Forza 3, thn you know wht im talking abt.. else no need to argue

its not up to sony how shift was converted its up to the developer its not sonys fault at all… How by any means is this a demo game. The only thing i dont like about it so far is the fact u cant put body kits on a used car or custom wheels
