mobile

So you want to pick yourself up a Nexus S and live the pure Google life. You probably have questions, no? Recently, Best Buy Mobile posted an FAQ page that pertains specifically to the forthcoming Samsung Nexus S. The questions range from the benign — When will the Google Nexus S be available to purchase? — to the slighly less benign — If I’m unable to upgrade and renew my account, can I still add a new line to my plan and get the Nexus S for $199? If you plan on hitting up Best Buy Mobile on the 16th, hit the read link and check out Best Buy’s policies on the Sexy Nexy: Part II to make sure there are no surprises on game day.

Hmmm…I may buy it in full price ($530) and let go of both nexus one and XT720.
Except lacking of memory card support, everything else looks pretty promising.

Feel proud. A minimum of 33 people (tweeted 32 times according to tweet counter, plus there’s me) managed to read the post without needing to say “first”. I don’t understand why people feel so special for being the first to post on a blog that gets 10 updates a day. It’s no big accomplishment. And if you are first…just keep it to yourself. We all have eyes – we all see you were first!!!

I actually though bgr didn’t have “FIRST!@1$!# nerds”. I guess with the increase in popularity, it’s getting some of Engadget’s noobs coming over…

i would have been first in line with microSD expansion. for now, i’ll keep on chugging with the nexus one. big fail, goolge/samsung.

I will be getting it at the full price.. :-)

Why do they keep referring to a locked and unlocked version. I thought they were all unlocked. You just get stuck for two years with t-mobile if you want the subsidized price.

No SD card slot, no buy! Epic Fail..

Memory cards are now a standard feature of any premium or semi-premium smart phone. Not including this in a $500+ phone is stupid. Somebody had to stand up at a design meeting and say, “Nah, we don’t need that. We can get away with not including it.” Unbelievable.

Why? Canada has RIM…LMAO! Perfect phone for you guys…

ok I love the phone but why in the world would Google make a phone that cannot take the full advantages of the broadbands that are available on other networks. You can on use the 2.5G service on ATT and cant even take advantage of the HSDPA+ service on T-mobile….just not make any sense

I have to say that the impressive algorithm that runs in the qwerty keypad is truly phenomenal, much needed for me who’s used in touch typing

After using this for awhile, it is safe to say that physical keyboards are dead.
