        None of the parties are, which is one of the fundamental problems of America we “side” with a party when we all should be independent and form our own conclusions, not jump on a parties d**k. We are a country of leaders, not followers… or we used to be?

        Regardless, I’d rather have a president who has balls than one who bows to everyone. We are America for God’s sake, stop trying to please everyone is what I say.

        I know my facts, and while your numbers are inflated, yes it was big factor.. Is it what sent the economy down the tubes? Depends on the economist statement you look at. My opinion in looking at the numbers is no, was there ONE particular event or person that send it into the spiral? No. But, you have to agree it wasn’t so much the wars as it was people getting into house’s banks knew they couldn’t afford, enough said. Foreclosures = Bankruptcy. Bankruptcy = Bad Credit. Bad Credit = No spending.

      Do you really know how much it cost US taxpayer to have troops in Iraq for a month? The answer is 12 billion. Multiple 12billion by 364 weeks. (My 10 digit display calculator couldn’t come up with an answer)

      All these money could have been between spent domestically.

And your math is all wrong, of course it wont computer for 2 reasons.. One 12 billion is more than 10 digits, two you are multiplying a MONTHLY total into WEEKS, moron.

        FY 2011 cost of each war
        Afghanistan- $321 Billion
        Iraq – $784 Billion

        Totaling – $ 1,105 Billion

        FY 2011 cost of each war (Adjusted for inflation)
        WWI – $334 Billion
        WWII – $4,104 Billion

        Totaling – $4,438 Billion

        And you are probably one of the people who elected Obama and are costing taxpayers a NET of 1.2 TRILLION, yes with a T dollars.

        And technically a lot of that money is being spent domestically. It’s paying american troops as well as manufacturers who build and design the weapons.
