Official Google Voice application for iPhone lands in App Store

The day hath cometh. Today, an official — Google made — Google Voice application landed in Apple’s iOS App Store. The new program, which requires and iPhone and iOS 3.0 or higher, offers push notifications of text messages and voicemails and allows users to access GV’s settings and dialer directly from their device. If you’re a Google Voice and iPhone user, make sure to pick this up!

      Search for “googlevoice” and not “google voice”.

        Nope. Searching for it either way it doesn’t show up. Wonder why? I have scowered the article and can’t find a link anywhere but I guess it would have to be dloaded in itunes anyway to get it on the phone.

    When is google going to show the Blackberry some love? the GV app for Blackberry is so out dated.

    Will be getting this right away. While I’m grateful to Sean Kovacs for the opportunity to get GVMobile+ for free a while ago, he took away spell check with SMS and it’s driving me crazy (for some reason, by brother keeps texting me at my Google Voice # and I can’t get him to stop. I also use GV for work) and it’s taking me forever to type each message.

      Don’t. I like gv mobile + better, especially if you use ATT a-list.

    Is it ONLY available to US customers? It doesn’t appear here in Canada in the app store in itunes or on my iphone. And I do have a google voice account.

    This looks better than the Android version, because it it seems to have the dialer, message list, etc all in the same app.
