HTC’s EVO-ish (Incredible HD) device surfaces again, LTE in-tow

Remember that uber-sexy, EVO-ish, HTC device we told you about months ago? Well, images of the seductive, 4.3-inch handset have surfaced again. The device is powered on, running Android 2.2 with Sense 2.0, and… wait for it… seems to be runnings on Verizon’s LTE network. Good things come to those who wait. The question is: how much longer can you wait to get your hands on this thing?

    I am considering a new phone, but I know now is a stupid time to buy a phone…The rumor for IHD not releasing around the holiday season seems Preposterous to me….I cant imagine not releasing new phones around the holiday season…Could the Rumor that it is supposed to come out only be squashed to reduce demand for this thing, hence “no LTE phones on Nov 23rd?”…Verizon and everyone else is about to clear out inventory for all these droid phones…You can buy droid x for 70 bucks on Newegg…and probably get it for FREE by December….Should I buy now or Wait?

    HTC: You guys used to be the go-to for phones with keyboards. I was patiently waiting for you to do it for VZW, but Motorola did it. Twice. Then Samsung did it.

    For shit’s sake, you let LG beat you to the Android w/a QWERTY punch. What the hell is going on in the world? Give me some love, HTC.

    Does this thing have Gmail and Google maps? Oh wait they all do and look more or less the same as every other freaking Android phone over the past year. Yet we still piss our pants like this is something revolutionary?

    What’s that? It has LTE? Why so our batteries can die really fast and Verizon can charge us more? Oh and still no LTE voice standard our any global compatability?

    I’m camping out in the snow for the latest iPhone knockoff Verizon sales before abandoning the Android platform itself in favor of the real thing early next year.
