Confirmed: BlackBerry Curve 3G coming to WIND Mobile

Over the last several days, rumors have been swirling that the BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 would be making its way to WIND Mobile — especially after the device surfaced in RIM’s software database. Now, one of our ninjas from the North has sent us visual confirmation of the device in Wind Mobile’s inventory system. Judging by the two listings, it appears as though the handset will be offered in two colors; we’re assuming a gray or black and something a tad bit brighter. Pricing and availability have not yet been determined… anyone excited?

    Wind would had launch in more cities by now but the “not in my backyard” backward mentality has slow down deployment in BC and Ontario. Its funny that the same people that doesn’t want new cell sites also complain about Rogers rates.

      I haven’t heard about this yet. I know Wind was supposed to launch in KW region at the beginning of this year but didn’t know the reason for the holdup. If you have one, care to post up a link?

        No link but I had seen flyers that are being posted at buildings’s elevators in places like Kitchener and Victoria, very similar to what happened in Ottawa and I believe Calgary Alberta where people had fought new towers.

        Even the CBC had a story about it back in the spring about some people that was trying to stop antennas near their properties so the problem is not new.
