Verizon Wireless rebate form outs two DROID 2 global handsets, Continuum, Citrus

It looks like Verizon Wireless will be sharpening up their entire phone lineup in time for the holidays. Engadget has just published an excerpt from Verizon’s latest cell phone rebate sheet, and the discount-document has quite a story to tell. The document details several Motorola devices; including the DROID Pro, Citrus, and two SKUs for the DROID 2 Global. The two-SKU listing for the DROID 2 could indicate one model with a camera and one model without, or that the handset will come in two different colors. Although not listed above, the blog also notes that the Palm Pre 2, LG Cosmos Touch, Samsung Zeal, and Samsung Continuum make the list. Just in time for the holidays.

        It is coming out (the merge) on the 11th and the Samsung Continuum is coming out on November 18th to Verizon.

    2 SKU’s often means nothing. The UM190 on previous pads has had 2 and 3 SKU’s for the same device.

    The HTC phone will be released in DEC and The LG LTE phone will be released in Jan. These phone are prob for Black Friday. At least that would make the most sense IMHO

    Now just because there is some phone that is NOT on here that is expected to come out doesn’t mean it wont. This is a MIR for indirect aka non corporate Verizon retailers. Often Verizon will put out a new phone in the middle of the month then update the MIR 1 day before it comes out. The 2 Skus mean nothing.

      I agree. As I was playing with the Galaxy tab this past week, I pondered how people can make authoritative claims about these things. Hell, people are still posting that smartphone data plans are capped at 5 gb. They’re not.

      And yep, I was playing with the Galaxy S tab this past week. And I am going to reserve any comment until it is officially released and laugh at the arm chair pundits.

    BTW folks, the rebate form does say “MOTOROLA”; infer, if you would please, that these are just Motorola phones and that other manufacturers appear on a separate form or on the part of the form that BGR has chosen not to show us.
