I think every phone manuf, should throw in a case for there phones..Peeeeeeeeeriod…I always thought that was weak if they didnt…I mean really…what would it cost them? another 5$ to really make an extra difference for the consumer…you have to spend about 50$+ or so in accessories to get what would actually cost about 7$ for the case…weak weak weak…

  • SMART-IPHONE

Gizmodo did a review on this about 10 things they want fixed:

I think I will wait until WP7 has its issues ironed out, and I will look into switching. Other than that, I don’t care much for it until it can do better than an iPhone or Android.

  • Apple Fanboy

These duds you call phones equate to the chunks of corn found in Steve Job’s excrement. It’s like rubbing two stones together to start a fire compared to the IPhone 4.

    • Lunchbox

So you’re saying that instead of lighting a WP7 device on fire, I should light an iPhone on fire? Noted. Thanks for the clarification.

And please explain why Steve Jobs has cellphone sized pieces of corn in his poop. Are you saying he eats phones? I mean, i’ve been known to eat anything that I accidentally get some Sweet Baby Ray’s on, but really? A cell phone? And who even makes corn that big?

There are giant holes in your story. I don’t think I can take a thing you say seriously. Good day, sir.

      • Ivan

Mention sweet baby rays and ill +1 u everytime

      • Apple Fanboy

Lunchbox? More like Toolbox. There are zero holes in my story. My story illustrates the point that Apple owns your faces. FACT.

      • Lunchbox

Too bad that Sarcasm App didn’t make it through the screening process (apparently).

Also, way to pull your comeback out of Back to the Future Part I.

      • justme

how is it that apple owns windows??? is it because their computers all depend on MS Office software so they have some kind of niche market???? or the fact that the WM phones have features that the iphone can not match? i wish you F*cking sheep would all just go to an island and leave normal people alone.

        Now lets see here
        1. No tethering
        2. no copy/paste
        3.no multi tasking
        4.you’re a total Microsoft dipshit
5.Next time I fuck your mother I’m using a condom

Thanks for the free car charger… now lets get with the unlimited data for $10/month (aka something people care about)

  • Mr.Bill

The samsung samoled is aliased when sitting next to a lcd.

    Vibrant, an blurry lol.

    • bob

the only thing wrong with that screen is
      the BUTT UGLY TILES

  • Jordy

The down side of PenTile Technology.

It is quite visible on the right side of the tiles.. I have seen this in a few other reviews too.

  • Mercado

Anything is better than Windows Mobile 6. I hope for Microsoft’s sake that this thing is totally different as the interface looks pretty cool.

From my experiences from a HTC Mogul to a Palm Treo, please for the sake of humanity make the new version nothing like the old.

  • Sandy S. Schwartz.

I’m a contract lawyer in Manhattan so my time is worth a lot more than most reader’s.

    I will buy this phone.

    1) As shown on TV you are in and out of this phone at a faster pace
    2) Beautiful font/interface/zune-like
    3) Has the MS name behind it so you know it will have instant market power and value.

    • You’re Kidding … Right?

Get over yourself Sandy. Brooklyn Law School, why didn’t you just go to the University of Phoenix?!

    • DigitalFreak

Sandy I’m calling your mother and making sure she gets her tubes tied. We don’t need more of your kind in the world,

  • Z Grey Fox

I think the smart move is to wait for WP7 to be improved. As it stands, the OS is functionally crippled.

Things missing that would need to be fixed before I’d even consider jumping from Android:

    -No cut/copy/paste
    -No true multi-tasking
-No support for memory card swapping
-Cannot connect to a hidden WiFi hot spot
    -No tethering

  • CMC

I really want to be excited about this new version of WinMo, but I just have a feeling that it will be a magnet for carrier-mandated bloatware. And AT&T is by far, the absolute worst of all.

I have one sumsung phone, want to get one HTC smartphone.
