The T-Mobile myTouch 4G's four colors pictured

General

It looks like blog CellPhone Signal got their hands on several images of T-Mobile’s yet-to-be-released myTouch 4G HSPA+ set and all its color variants. As originally announced by T-Mobile, the device will be available in white, black, red, and plum. To be honest, we’re a little disappointed T-Mobile didn’t jazz up the color names — we were thinking abyss black, luscious lavender, $4-cabernet red, and lion’s tooth white… or something like that. Regardless, if you’re planning on picking up a myTouch 4G, and prefer a little color in your pocket or purse, have a look and let us know what you think.

so you are either a false jarrett…or you are jarrett trying to get back to neutral so that your 1 in every 100 reasonable comments do not get downranked because everybody hates you. either way, welcome.

In case you missed it, the official tmobile accessories leaked for this today. They are branded mytouch hd, not 4g.

    • grrr

Thankfully! Branding this a 4G device would be so stupid.

      • Jeremy P.

What makes you say that? Sprint is branding their WiMax as 4G when it’s not, in reality, a 4G technology as defined by the ITU. LTE isn’t a 4G tech by their definition either.

      • Celz

because Wimax will be 4G.. HSPA+ will never be

  • Richard

I likes the myTouch HD. I jumps in it. :-)

    $ Cabernet? Cheap shot Andrew.

Wasn’t really trying to take a swipe at T-Mobile. Just trying to be comical. I like when companies name their phone colors something fun. “Burnt Autumn” instead of “orange.”

      • StevenHamburg

i liked your nomenclature. but i can now see how it could be seen as a “cheap shot”. still, don’t change it.

This is totally off topic, but where is the story about Nokia’s Q3 earnings report???? Maybe BGR decided not to make it a story because it would prove how wrong they have been all this time. Nokia increased their handset sales and smartphone sales…..and all this time BGR and their idiotic readers have been pronouncing the death of Nokia and Symbian. So of course BGR wouldn’t post a story about Nokia’s successes last quarter. Nokia’s Q3 earnings doesnt even count the Symbian^3 (N8 and C7) sales. Q4 is gonna be a big quarter for Nokia, biatches!

    • Andrew Munchbach

yeah, it could be that we didn’t want to be wrong. or it could be that you didn’t look very hard:

      http://www.bgr.com/2010/10/21/nokia-reports-q3-earnings-e10-3-billion-in-sales/

      • ThisGuy

Youre right, I didnt look very hard. But then again, you and a majority of your readers are still wrong that Nokia and Symbian are dead. I guess 2 wrongs do make a right.

    • Mj

      Lmao u got owned!

  • weipei

Tmo needs to add an Android green/lime to the collection.

  • Rusty Shackleford

Shut up Munch C0ck, no one cares about your lame opinions.

    • Mj

      Apparently you do

  • lurch

    Riveting tale, chap!

The physical buttons on the front make these phones look dated.

    • Bahahahahahah

Kind of like a “Home” button on others..?

  • ted

    Why not say “we’re 3g”! It’s not really 4!

  • Jje

Why does sprint say 4g and its slower then tmobile hspa+

    • George

How you know its slower than t-mobile ? i get 11mbs on my evo let me know if tmobile can do better than that !!!!!!!

      • Celz

        The cant..

  • ImaTmoFan

This phone is gonna be the sh1t… Can NOT wait to get my hands on this bad boy

  • young hov

Wimax is pre 4g and lte is pre 4g everyhig else can not be called 4g. Only wimax 2 and lte advanced are 4g.

    • Celz

Exactly Tmo HSPA+ is only faster than WiMax in a few places. And that’s because Tmo has been building out its 3G network longer than Sprint has been working on its 4G. LTE and WiMax will pass HSPA+ in a few months, an Tmo will have to ask Sprint if they can use Clear too…

  • …BobC

No wonder people get confused about what 4G is or isn’t. Apple messed up and called their phones 3G and 3Gs instead of just calling them 3 and 4. The current version would then be iphone 5, which is really should have been the correct name. Quite a few people refer to their iphone 4 as being 4G. Now T-Mobile is doing it. It also doesn’t help when tech bloggers who should know better make the same mistakes.

  • Mitch

I’d love to have one in white or red, honest to god.

That is a nice looking phone.
