Blackberry Bold 9780 pricing revealed in the UK

T-Mobile UK has jumped the gun and revealed pricing for the, BlackBerry OS 6-toting Bold 9780. The  Bold 9780 is the successor to the aging, but wildly popular Bold 9700. According to Electricpig, the new BlackBerry will be available before Christmas. The handset will be available for £0 ($0, if you convert) if you sign 2 years of your life away for a £30/month. Reasonable, no? However, we still don’t have any info on tariff details.

The three other major carriers in Blighty – O2, Orange and 3, have remained tight-lipped on availability. With the festive shopping season around the corner, you can expect all the major carriers to jump on-board

    The 9700 is a very popular device. Even though it’s old I’ve seen people getting them in the stores recently. This is a nice refresh for arguably the best candybar smartphone out there. Nice price too.

      I’m waiting until next year when they release a Bold 9000 format with QNX, touch and track pad.

    I was suprised to see they kept it within the 9700-series. It’s obviously a totally new device, blows the doors off of the original 9700 released a year ago.

      How is it a slap to the face? The 9700 has been out for a year now; was the 3gs a slap to the face to the 3g? Its just a phone, if you like it, buy it, if not, then keep using your 9700 because it will not explode and cease to work when the 9780 is release.
