All Twitter users now have new site layout, old layout being phased out

Today, social networking giant Twitter announced that all 160 million of its users now have access to the site’s new interface; the company announced a site over-haul just four weeks ago. In an official blog post, Twitter writes: “You’ll be able to switch between both the old and new versions of Twitter for the next few weeks. After that, everyone will just use the new version.” If you’re a Twitter person — a Twerson if you will — let us know what you think of the #newTwitter.

      We get it, you’re way to cool for social media. Go be cool somewhere else.

      Anyway, new Twitter has a nice look but they still need to implement a way to track conversations if someone is replying to a previous tweet. As it is, clicking on their tweet shows you their last several tweets. If they’re replying to someone, I want to see the back and forth.

Let me help you: “social networking” things like MySpace, Twitter, Facebook, etc, actually derive more ANTI-social behavior out of people who use it, especially youth.         Epic Beard Man speaks the truth. Social Networking is nothing more than social control, social deprivation, and an effort to decrease overall productivity in not only people’s social lives but also their professional lives. It is something that should be boycotted outright by any truly social, freethinking individual.

        — do you realize that the current format we are all posting on is also a form of social media. Being to leave comments & respond to posts from users all over (the globe), is what the essence of each of these media represent. The fact it is being used to decry it, is oxymoronic (note: I did not call ‘you’ a moron; I said that “The fact it [social media] is being used to decry [social media], is oxymoronic. — so please spare me the harsh, derisive language used against @orga. Intelligent points can be made without personal attacks on character) (smile).

    I don’t approve. My work computers are running older versions of IE so they don’t support the function to go back to older posts in the new twitter.

    Really i think its just security settings disabling scripts and active x controls but it will be harder for me use the twitter website at work now.

    I’m just wonder how long it will take people to figure out that others really don’t care exactly what they are doing at this moment. Unless you are climbing Everest, landing from a row boat in the Arctic, getting a Nobel Prize or otherwise engaged… Yawn. Has anyone one bothered to tell you lately you are actually quite boring to anyone but yourself? would be my favorite tweet. Now if they could just overhaul personalities and brains….
