4G has been spotty while they’ve been testing the past couple months.

Here are some results using the speedtest.net app on my EVO 4G:

at work in downtown St Paul:
    Sioux Center IA server
    download: 8173 kbps
    upload: 1001 kbps
    ping 124ms

Best I’ve gotten so far was 9581 download / 1036 upload

Lousy 4g service. Available ONLY in some very central areas in Pittsburgh. Plus for some reason my otherwise very awesome EVO slows down like a freakin iPhone when I switch on my 4G. The service is nothing worth writing home about.

I work 3 miles south of downtown MPLS. I cannot get 4G here in my office on my Epic. I get very sporadic coverage at best in the heart of downtown. Put it this way, at this point 4G is mostly non existent in the Twin Cities from my experience thus far.
