T-Mobile tests cell site powered by the sun

GigaOM is reporting that T-Mobile is testing a completely solar-powered cell phone tower here in the States. The single tower — located in Chalfont, PA — generates enough power to keep the site off the grid and, at times, feed power back into the country’s aging electrical system. Pike Research estimates that 4.5% of all cellular stations worldwide will use solar or wind energy by 2014. The report indicates that although the tower does cost 2 to 3 times more than the standard, grid-powered equivalent, savings in the long run — in electricity, tax benefits, and initial setup costs — could very well make up for the difference over the life of the tower.     I have to get this off my chest… What better way to do it then on a blog annonymously. I sincerely apologize if you find this offensive, but everyone needs to spill the beans sometimes, or put something in writing. It’s theraputic.

    Anyway, I went to a bar two nights ago. My wife is a nurse and was working night shift. I’m sitting there drinking my rum and coke as the bartender brings me two more. Immediately I’m like wtf? He says they are courtesy of the gentlemen sitting “over there”. I say thanks, but very weired out.

    10 minutes later, this guy approaches me. Even stranger. Too make a longer story shorter… We actually got to talking and had a very enlightening conversation. By this time I’m somewhat tipsy. He then put his hand on my upper thigh! And I just let it happen. In fact I got hard, he def notice because he started to run his hand up to my package.

    I stopped him and for some reason just said… “not here”. He put his arm around my shoulder and led me in to the bathroom.

    Which leads me to my dilemma. I wrapped my mouth around this guys junk for over 20 minutes in a bathroom stall. I then went home with him and had sex with him. It didn’t even hurt, his package felt amazing.

    I am married though and presumed I am straight. Cannot wait to get it in with this man again… Dont know what to do??????

        You “Get” HIV . . . then it develops into AIDS – and this is only assuming – that you had unprotected sex with a HIV+ partner who infected you.

        All Homosexual sex does not always result in “AIDS” as you so ignorantly put it.

        Meanwhile – to the Guy above – GET TESTED – TELL YOUR WIFE – DO SOUL SEARCHING and Figure out if what is the most important things in your life.

        If you had sex with another male so easily – chances are likely that you already where into guys and just not being honest with yourself from the start.

    Have fun with your inferior CDMA/WIMAX network. T-Mobile CRUSHES wimax speeds on its own 3G and they don’t make their customers pay extra for it.

    SO enjoy that lame EVO when t-mobile customers can put Android on their HD2s and get better service and faster data speeds and pay less per month than you do.

    The Hd2 is the only respectable device on t-mobile. I’d rather pay more money for a reliable carrier who is looking into the future than a company who gives free lines to kids. In the technology world you pay for what you get and with teen-mobile its basically nothing other than a bunch of Hindu call center workers and crappy phones.

    I used to install microwave hops and this isn’t exactly ground-breaking… Companies have been doing this for years. Some of the remote sites I worked at ran diesel generators 24 hours per day to power the radios, and it only makes sense to install solar or wind to alleviate fuel costs. But there’s always backup. Even if they’re grid-tied, they have gigantic battery banks.

    they should be installing these for every cell site in the southwest. nevada and arizona especially!!! makes total sense.
