Blueprints for HTC HD7 leak

General

Blog WMPoweruser has just published several sketches of what the HTC HD7 Windows Phone 7 device will look like. The schematic isn’t quite as good as an image, but you can use your imagination — and knowledge of HTC hardware — to fill in the blanks. The handset looks to have that familiar EVO form, with a 4.3-inch screen, dual-LED flash, and beveled back. There is an outline of  something on the lower-rear quarter of the device which could be a kickstand (although that is unconfirmed). Hopefully, as rumored, the operating system — and accompanying hardware — is on track for an October launch.

Looks cool. Maybe a world edition? Hope so. AT&T is missing this HTC goodness.

HTC really stepped outside the box with this one.

If i make the switch to WM7, i will be doing it with this phone…i was hoping to only rock phones with AMOLED screens (cuz it is so beautiful) but Samsung doesn’t seem wanna make a phone that wows me…if they combined all the Galaxy S’ into one phone it would be amazing, but they wanna water them down, so ill take my business else where…i do love my Captivate’s SUPER AMOLED though.

No wonder your upset, the Captivate is the worst of all of the Sammy Galaxy S variants. Um, I suggest you dump the Captive for the Vibrant (don’t worry it can be unlocked without having to root) or you can buy the original Galaxy, see problem solved :)

    I thought hd7 was supposed to be 4.5 inches & have 1.5ghz precessor & 1800mhz battery.

There has been no official specs leaked for the HD7/HD3. Some sites were incorrectly quoting a fan-made rendering of what that fan wanted the HD7/HD3 to look like and the specs they wanted it to have.

      that’s a fast battery!

They could easily pack a 4.5″ screen on this, the sketch looks nice, I just don’t see anything that says, HD3/7… A kickstand would be nice, no complaints there but as an HD2 successor, I expect a slightly larger screen and at a higher resolution.

Here’s hoping this wont be an HD2 refresh (same hardware specs, cpu, screen, resolution, etc) running WP7 on it…

With all of that being said, can’t wait to see the actual phone featured on this site!

I’d take higher resolution over larger screen size.

I suspect hd2 refresh with WP7 this phone looks way more like the hd2 then the evo hopefully xda can have us hd2 owners triple booting by the time its out – winmo 6.5 custom rom – WP7 – desire hd rom – now that would be one hell of a phone

Is that a cover for the camera lens?????? My 31 day old EVO has a scratch on the camera lens and I thought In was taking such good care of it.

Would LOVE an HD series phone on Verizon for once. Don’t like Windows 7 much at all, but I’d put up with it on a device like that.
