HTC Mozart specs revealed in video

Rumor

A video of the HTC Mozart has surfaced on YouTube. The one minute video is not all that exciting — it depicts the Mozart being paired to a Bluetooth handset — but a brief text slide at the beginning of the clip gives us some alleged specs of the Windows Phone 7 device. According to said video, the Mozart will be working with a 1 GHz Qualcomm QSD 8250 processor, 576 MB RAM, 512 MB of ROM + 8 GB internal storage, 3.7-inch WVGA Super LCD screen, 8 megapixel camera, and a 1300 mAh battery. The aspect ratio of the video looks a little off, but that can’t stop us from thinking this baby looks pretty similar to the Nexus One (physically and specs wise). The video is after the jump, have a look for yourself.

    I’m really just excited to finally see Windows P7 in action. Many on here love to already hate without actually trying it, but I wanna give it a fair run. The Windows media center has come a long way, in part to itunes, but I think it really capitalizes on their limitations.

    Its not that we hate it… Its that many of us have been on other OS for a while and unless its revolutionary, which its not, then why switch? WP7 may be ok and actually useful, but feature wise, IMHO, its a step down from Android… Although its certainly better than iOS…

    WP7 is just very late to the game….

      Another opinion without actually useing it…unbeleivable.

    I hope that Windows Phone 7 manages battery power better than Android because that battery would not cut it in the Nexus One. Even with tasks being consistently killed the Nexus One was really hard on the battery. Not even a full business day of use is possible. However if Windows phone 7 manages power more like Windows Mobile it should be quite good.

    Doesnt seem like its bringing anything innovative to the market place.

    Wp7 isn’t and never will be better than any iOS

    hard to pass judgement on an OS that you only see pairing with a blutooth device (unless you have extended experience with THIS OS). i, for one, thought it looked pretty snappy and the UI looks pretty cool. will wait and see.

    I can’t wait for wp7. Its such a better os for business purposes than anything else out.don’t get me wrong I love my captivate but it doesn’t cut it when it comes to productivity

    Don’t speculate before WP7 comes out.

    phone=good
    OS=bad…

    How can Microsoft be so clueless….that user interface is horrible it looks like something out of 1970′s. Just because you have a cool transition animation doesnt make it a good os…seriously between RIM and Microsoft….I am so dissapointed with their latest os offerings.

      Out of the 70s? Bet you weren’t even born then! Looks super to me.

      so im guessing you used winmo 7 before?

    The os looks likes its based on transitions, all these fancy screen transitions. Just looks like there is way too much navigation going on. Not in this video but some of the more in depth reviews. Hate the tile screen with the big empty space on the left side of the screen,, why waste one third of an inch, and if wp7 is as bad on a battery a windows seven is, good luck. But just like any smartphone, the more you use anything that requires real copying power the battery will drop bars right before your eyes.

      …especially Android!

    I dont know what irritates me more: android fanboys, or apple fanboys.. when neither of them have actually used this device or OS. Nobody is going to force you to buy this you know…
