BlackBerry 6 leaks for Curve 9330

The BlackBerry Curve 9330 isn’t even available yet — although it should be shortly — but it already has a leaked operating system. We’re telling you this because that leaked operating system happens to be BlackBerry 6. If you have plans to buy a 9330 in the near future, and love being on the bleeding edge of mobile operatings systems, it might behoove you to download BlackBerry OS 6.0.0.212 from the interwebs before it goes the way of the Dodo.       We have a 9700 with BB 6 on it, which is different than having BB 6 for the 9700 :)

        Thanks for the clarification, but I’m pretty sure the initial reason was because you guys “don’t leak software.” Oh well I guess.

    As a current droid X owner, previous iphone, iphone3G, iphone3GS, and N1 i have been thinking about getting a blackberry as a spare. I kind of miss owning one. I had the 8330, 9500, and 9630. This curve looks like it would do fine.

    Why is RIM wasting time making Curves. Why doesn’t RIM kill all their phones and just make the Torch. It has a keyboard so traditional Blackberry users will still be comfortable with it. But then at least they all can get full screens. the half a screen half keyboard AGE IS DEAD. Take a page from Android and iPhone devices page.

    RIM is too afraid of pushing their users forward.

      The Torch is painful to use…I prefer the 9700. Much faster to get to everything. Emails, messages, calendar, notifications.

      Sorry if I don’t use my phone for YouTube videos, web browsing, and fart apps. Just like Androids and iPhone, the Torch takes too long to do what I need/want.

      When does having a big screen really make a difference? Who uses their device as a movie watching tool (apart from easyjet flyers)?

      Maybe it’s just me but I just like being able to type. Touch screens just are not good enough to keep up with my typing speed…

    Like it or not, this thing with BB-OS6 on it will sell like mad.
    I would like to see a Torch HD – stick a 1ghz chip and a 2x res screen in the Torch, call it the Torch HD and yer done. Would sell scads of them for $50 more.

    Why does everyone hate on bb it works for us that like bbs , if you don’t like it buy an iPhone or android…. I own a business and the torch is okay expected a lot better from rim being in business for so long could do much better..

    But love my 9700, again no offense if you don’t like bb don’t read the post and hate!!!

      I totally agree with you.
      I’m using my 9700 again after going around with the other OS’s (WinMo 6.5, Android 2.1 & 2.2, iOS) and I’m back with BB because it just works for me.

    Some one cares about what blackberry does ? Comon now ! Who gives damn about bb. I picked my friends 9700 a day a go and immediately went back 10 yrs . Just useless . I personally wrote bb off when they didn’t buy palm. Big mistake bb. Huge ! Can i get a yay for 2002 pjones here ??

    every black berry that comes out isnt exciting anymore , its all the same stuff just a different look!

      The same applies to other smartphone. We don’t see innovation anymore because they all do the same thing. Windows Phone 7 looks promising though, we’ll see how it goes, stay tuned!
