Windows Phone 7 launching on October 11?

Rumor

Pocket-lint is reporting that “multiple sources familiar with the matter” have informed them that Microsoft plans to officially announce its new mobile operating system — Windows Phone 7 — on October 11th. The site writes that the announcement will be made at an event in New York City and the device will be given an official release date, at said event, for later in the month. The October 11 date does line up with the company line Microsoft has been feeding us for months: “in time for the holiday season.” More on this as it becomes available.

Common trolls mostly participating in this thread an I am not surprised that they are worried.

Ver 1.0 WP7, And the trolls forget their history an how their respective O.S.s looked then, like trash and most didn’t do crap, if they could even fulfil the phone portion of it, it was something. Not just flaky ants, Droid your in that group too, remember, no MMS…

Anyhow, you all can sh*t all over it, though it will make a stand and either fly or flop, time will tell.

You should all, welcome the entrance of WP7, it will make others step their game up, and I know damn well apple could use a boot in the arse.
