I knew You Wouldnt Let me Down Dan!

  • HunterA3

Hopefully they will offer it unsubsidized without a contract. I’d buy it out right and use it with wifi only. Even though I use sprint, I really dont want another device on my bill.

  • devo

Don’t get happy till u see the price they are saying 800.00 us in Europe

    • serpentor

      But that’s unsubsidized, no?

If it’s from Sprint it’ll be subsidized. If they want to sell a bunch of them they’ll price it $300-350 on contract.

    • 3 Phones Jugglin

Why shouldnt i get happy? Its new Technology. Therefore, yea its going to cost. Thats the bullet im willing to bite. This isnt a cell Phone afterall.

If its expensive then ill get a contract…if the price is IPad similar…then ill buy one off contract. I pondered buying an Ipad then realized….id be supporting Apple.

If you dont think youll be able to afford one…you can always wait a year or 2 when cheaper variants are released.

    • Mitch

Exactly. I wouldnt pay twice as much as an ipad for something have the size. And the only way I would get it is unsubsidized.

But either way, thats still a ridiculous price, I could get a nice laptop for that.

Given every carrier has a galaxy s, this will probably go to Verizon as well, but only after the Droid tablet.

    • Norm

It’s called a DROIDpad. Do you really think a Google/VZW/Motorola collaborated product is going to be all that original? No. They are going to blatantly copy Apple and then tout how they have one uped specs over a year old ipad.

      • RT

and then apple will claim that patented “reading text on a screen” and sue the hell out of everyone. That is the apple way afterall.

      • ps

well considering the ipad has only been out for 5 months, that is quite a feat. Samsung must have a magic time machine then too.

  • EggoEspada

Guess all carriers are getting it? That’s pretty awesome to see a potential 4G tablet.
Shame the pricing on this device its rumored so high.

    • Android

Where are all these poor, broke folks coming from. Find a job and buy two of these afterwards!

      • Mitch

Its not that we dont have that much, its just we would rather see it cheaper. The iPad is twice as big for like half as much as this is rumored to be.

  • nismo

    Sprint’s version is 4g.

  • serpentor

Everyone, the rumored price has got to be off contract.

  • Jason

So Verizon and Sprint is receiving this?

    Another win for both companies

AT&T has the iPad so its not big deal…

    T-Mobile fails again…

  • viper4774

HELLO EVERYBODY…UNTIL YOU SEE AN OFFICIAL ANYTHING FROM SPRINT THIS IS HERE-SAY. It’s showing in Verizon inventory system can you say at least the same for Sprint? No? My point exactly. Yes Verizon and Sprint are CDMA but don’t let you all excitement get in the way of better judgement. Heck tweet the hell out of Sprint to force you all to give an answer.

    • Creamy Tuna Casserole

      Do you speak English?

    • popular nobody

It’s coming to Sprint. I knew this for about 3 weeks now. T-Mobile is in talking for it, as well. No one has to believe me, but Verizon won’t be the only US carrier to have this tablet.

    • Mitch

      Quit yelling at us.

    • TAW

Well doesnt someone have there panties in a bunch.

    • killa callahan

verizon is not 4G Sprint is! I know verizon is working on being 4G soon but not by Novmember.

      • BDS

Neither Sprint nor the three headed beast (Verizon/AT&T/maybe T-Mobile?) are putting out 4G standards right now, or in the next two years. These both are “3.9G” until LTE-Advanced or WiMAX 10GB are available. Both are being considered as drafts by the ITU.

Anything else (______ is 4G and nothing else is…) is straight up e-peening or schillspeak.

  • Swagger

If it had that bad ass AMOLED screen it would be a done deal.

  • http://bgr tblack

I can’t wait for that sprint for life

  • BDUS

I’m not happy until carriers allow us to share connections between their devices for free. I have an EVO, can’t imagine another thirty bills a month for a seven inch EVO.

That’s why I love the Nexus One. It’s a shame that it never saw the light of day on Sprint and Verizon when it should have.

  • Alex

Don’t get me wrong, the Galaxy Tab looks very nice, however I’m holding out for something that Google worked closely with a hardware manufacturer in developing.

  • Dream

The Commercial for this device is awesome, So much better then IPad lls

  • ChicoJD

I’m awaiting the MotoTablet from VZW. 10″ of Motorola goodness… rumor is LTE will be on board.

  • Dan Hesse

Sorry guys it is coming but it isn’t 3g/4g

    • Giggity

So what you are saying is that it will have 4G?

  • Chad

So it’s being released in Europe, on what I would suspect is a GSM Network, then bringing it to the states on an antiquated CDMA Network like Sprint or VZW? Even if it’s only going to be utilizing 3G/4G for data, I still call shenanigans!

  • WilliamC

Now – this is what I call news. Thanks Samsung for helping our carrier out! We needed this tablet too.

  • RP

Can I use it as a MiFi?

  • theking25

will it have a keyboard XD

  • semicolnn

    All….over….this

  • John doe

What are 4g standards? I find my 10mbps downloads speeds the next generation in wireless…

  • someone
