Samsung Epic 4G disassembled by the FCC

General

Ususally we see photographs like these from ifixit or iSuppli, however the source of the above image is none other than the FCC. Now that the Samsung Epic 4G is “street legal” the FCC has released images of the innards of the WiMax capable handset. If you’re interested to know exactly where the Hummingbird processor is located in relation to the Qualcomm CDMA radio hit the jump. The FCC’s website holds the answers to all your questions. Spoiler alert: the two chips are right next to each other!

      Haha YES! I’ll be the Apple fanboy! iPhone 4 looks alot better on the inside!

      • TAW

        Who cares what the inside look like. At least the Epic can make calls. Oh wait, and you get a bonus of 4G. No bumpers needed!

    whats bgr love affair with sprint and everything verizon. its the galaxy s every carrier in the world has one. whats so great about this phone?because it says 4g or sprint. the last three weeks all about droid x,evo,epic,droid, oh yeah you also wrote about a verizon dummy phone,wtf.

  • Norm

    Being a Verizon employee and fanboy I must say i am thrilled with BGRs coverage of VZW lately. Nearly every story is VZW and I love it.

  • Gee

    @norm,
    Good for you. To bad you have no clue about technology. Your remarks yesterday were so off center.

  • WilliamC

    That is because Sprint and Verizon is making all the news. AT&T is having problems with that dreadful Iphone and bandwith hoggers and T-Mobile is trying to get an agreement with Sprint to better improve their 3G or 4G coverage. Something to that effect. Shows you that Sprint is alive and well. THEY ARE NOT SLEEPING AT THE WHEEL!!!
