Samsung Epic 4G on Amazon for $199

If you’re moving to Sprint to get yourself the Epic 4G — and have more patience than we do — you can save yourself about $50. Amazon has the Epic 4G listed on its website for $199 for new contract signers. If you’ve been debating whether to get the EVO or the Epic, and the $50 price difference was a factor you were weighing, your decision just got harder.     for those of you who can be patient…wait a month and the price will be $99 and in about 2-3 months it will be down to $0.01.

    Why be in a rush? Very rare for anything new to be problem free when launched. let others pay more and deal with the headaches.

    In a few weeks I will enjoy the epic for less $ and 2.2 preloaded.

    I did preorder from Wirefly who has 30 day price protection on the Epic. Best of both worlds.

      just ordered mine from wirefly (couldn’t wait any longer). $199 and a code for a free memory card.

      I preordered from Wirefly at $240 but got an email late Monday notifying me of a price reduction to $200. Maybe there’ll be another reduction before the 30 days is up.

    I’ve personally been debating whether to get the Sprint Epic 4G or the Verizon Fascinate.

    Both Galaxy S phones, but the Epic 4G has a keyboard, front-facing camera and 4G (in my city), while the Fascinate has got the better network, slimmer form factor and wouldn’t require me to change networks.

    I ordered the Epic yesterday from Amazon and they said it wouldn’t ship for three weeks. I called customer service and they basically said “Tough”. I am canceling my order! Go shop BestBuy at $225 or Wirefly $200 as they will get it to you much quicker without the attitude!
