BlackBerry 9330 headed to Sprint

General

It isn’t like you couldn’t see this one coming from a mile away, but we know that some of you like concrete proof. RIM has published a knowledge base article to address the issues you are having with your unreleased, unannounced BlackBerry 9330 from Sprint. The article explains how you can solve that pesky issue, where “BlackBerry App World pre-loaded games are missing after the ##RTN command is preformed.” The article has since been pulled, but it looks like the lack-luster, mid-range BlackBerry will be landing on the Now Network in the near future.

9330? don’t care. when is the 9830 Torch gonna come to Sprint?

  • D_Genius

who really cares about this piece of crap equiptment! RIM shouldnt release it on any carrier.

Who gives a shit. Another DOA handset with a POS OS.

Oh boy, a chromed out 8530 with a bigger #… This must be one bad-ass phone.

  • Max

By the way, notice the prominent word in that knowledge base:

Brickbreaker. That is so so damn important to you BB nerds.

Why does RIM even bother? Their handsets are all outdated. The torch is a piece of junk. Nothing innovative about it. The screen, processor are garbage and no front facing camera. WTF?

    • Doosh

Yeah, because front-facing cameras are the definition of cutting edge and must-have technology. Of all the “important” things to mention, you have “front-facing camera.” IDIOT!!!

    “the lack-luster, mid-range BlackBerry…”

Isn’t that any BlackBerry in the past couple of years? Just look at the Torch.

blackberry’s user interface is too complicated. plus they should get rid of the mandatory blackberry internet. never understood the concept of android internet, blackberry internet, smartphone internet. isn’t internet all the same?

If its not a Blackberry Torch on Sprint (Preferably with 4G) or a 4G Blackberry period….its not news….OK?

You do realize that not everyone wants a huge screen or even cares about a front facing camera, not to mention, a lot of corporate places ONLY have blackberries. They excel at communications. I have an Evo and a Bold. I absolutely love my Evo, but it has to be charged every night, I can go 3 or 4 days with my Bold.

Not everyone wants a high end superphone, and not every phone needs to be a high end super phone. blackberries have their place in the world.

Basically, blackberries are the new feature phone.

I want to like Blackberry again but they are giving us nothing

I have Blackberry 9630. Blackberry 9330 looks just like 9630 except the Wifi. RIM is lazy. They should come up with new OS to complete with iPhone. I will be getting a HTC phone next month.

I think i prefer using it without Sprint BIS..

Really though blackberry has become super boring!! The App World has no cool apps and if it does have a cool app they are overly priced. Ive been loyal to blackberry for a few years but…..Blackberry is nothing special anymore. Sorry but for fighting a losing battle.
