LG C900 Windows Phone 7 device to be called "Pacific"?

We have a source inside LG who is claiming that the C900 Windows Phone 7 handset we’ve been seeing all over the Internet will actually be called the “Pacific”. Our source also said this is the name being used internally as well. This is the second time we’ve heard the “Pacific” moniker; the first was in this interview conducted by Pocket-lint. What do you think of the name Pacific? Does it have that special ring to it?

    Who cares what the phone will be called. People are so hung up on the iPhone and Android that no one will even stop to notice such a crap phone from a crap company with a crap OS on a crap carrier.

    I think they should have chose a better name, that name sounds watered down. I hope they have a great concept behind that name, because windows phone doesn’t have a good rap to come out so flimsy.

    I just saw the browser comparison video to iphone4 & android 2.2. I have to say that I actually love the fluidity of their browser the best.

    Its alrigh King, you can continue to toil mindlessly away on whatever phone you have and keep buying the same thing over and over.

    In the mean time, you can also feel proud of the fact that you are one of many many people who totally fails to recognize a competitive device, a good looking OS and the unique services it could provide.

    Its not like Apple or Google weren’t the underdogs that everyone discounted at one point. Oh wait.

    I see this attitude from fanboys all the time, and frankly, its hilarious. Little do they know comments like the one above is just confirmation of a decent product they are afraid of, a fear made obvious by their defensiveness.
