Verizon Wireless, RIM data issues/outage in Midwest?

One of our Verizon Wireless sources has just forwarded us an internal email detailing some data issues in the Midwest. According to the email, the issue affects only data, not voice, and is currently happening in over 3 states. Additionally, it looks like there is an issue with “RIM’s Switch” that is playing with the emotions of all carriers nationwide, not just Verizon. How you looking out there BGR friends? Phones working ok?

    Funny big red isn’t so big and good. The screwed up and can’t handle the load. They attack At&t but there doing the samething.

      This is a RIM issue, not a Verizon issue. I know a paragraph is a lot to read but it clearly states it.

    I just flew from LA to NYC and got all my email;s and phone calls on my BB except when we flew over Fort Wayne!

      How in the hell would the wifi in the plane affect your RIM service?

    I have BB users on both AT&T and VZW not working. Not sure why everyone’s ripping on VZW but the issue lies with RIM.

    Getting no data/internet service on BB. In Atlanta! Maybe the issue is in the SouthEast

      oh, and I have Verizon. So the issue is with RIM?
