LG C900 Windows Phone 7 handset to be released September 28th?

Rumor

The LG C900 has been outed by a Bluetooth SIG filing as having a September 28th launch date here in the U.S. The C900, which will be released by carrier AT&T, is a Windows Phone 7 full-QWERTY slider device that will be LG’s first swing at a WP7 handset. The handset will also be released internationally as the C900B, C900K, and C900N. The device certainly has been making the rounds in the last few days. We were dropped a tip of the devices existence, shortly after Engadget was sent an image (seen above), and now this Bluetooth SIG filing has been released. What do you think? Does the September 28th date hold water?

Add Cut, Copy, Paste and HTML 5 support Windows 7 will be another great choice in phone OS’s.

Yo when are the t-mobile windows 7 phones going to be outed.

WM7 is only going to be available on AT&T at launch, which is why there are so many AT&T posts. WM7 is a brand New OS that should be discussed and I doubt they would hide a cool technology just to be bias over a certain carrier.

That is based only on AT&Ts claim that they will be the premiere US carrier. No one has defined what that means.

I hope it is no more than the fact that they are paying MS to name them up front, and that they have no more than 2 weeks exclusivity.

MS has announced at least 5 separate manufacturers, and that they will be on all major carriers.

So let’s hope that no one does anything stupid like give AT&T a 3 month exclusive which would be harmful to WP7 (especially if the network can’t handle the data).

    Dear LG,

You claim a dozen phones this year…Why havent you put this kinda effort into Android? Get Android in this and you have my money. Plain and Simple. But dont tell me your playin possum for Winmo 7.

Maybe not everyone wants that halfbaked POS OS

That keyboard/phone actually looks solid and well constructed. What I don’t like is the screen size.

Also, since WP7 utilizes so many boxy elements and squares, I think the devices that run it should be square and boxy. It’s for that reason that the one Samsung leaked prototype is the most attractive WP7 device in my eyes.
