T-Mobile's G2 photographed

General

Want to see what the mysterious T-Mobile G2 looks like? Good, because this semi-blurry spy shot was sent into Engadget. You can see the devices full-QWERTY keyboard — which has that Touch Pro 2 look about it (minus the dedicated number keys) — optical trackpad, and T-Mobile branding. The screen looks to be in the 3.7 to 4-inch range and appears to have a dedicated camera button. Let us know what you think!

it’s SOOOOOO funny how people are taking aim at the phone and the carrier.

to those who hate, just because you had T-Mobile service in the past, and you didn’t pay your bill and T-Mobile ruined your credit (or destroyed your life in some way), doesn’t mean you have to let it all out here. lol

the haters hate to admit it but T-Mobile is getting better hardware this year; and some are just mad that they are no longer on that carrier…

or just get three of the best carriers (in my opinion Verizon, AT&T & T-Mobile) like me! :D

I’ve been on T-Mobile for 6 years and running now.

Does that give me the right to say that I’m not impressed with this phone?

Just because somebody doesn’t like what you like doesn’t mean they are a hater or a disgruntled ex-customer.

Time to get a grip on reality and grow up a bit.

Then insteading of complaining and whining, go to another carrier that has better looking phones.

I know that with the internet, people have the right to express their own opinions, but the opinions can get very annoying and repetitive.

I’m just tired of hearing people like YOU, Ace Of Space, whine.

And you expect me to grow up? lol

Kinda looks like a Nexus One with a slide out keyboard. Very nice as long as it gets the same level of OS support that the N1 did.

The phone does look plain but it is just a test model they are showing. Im hoping that when they do actually release the phone it won’t look so drab and comes in 3 decent colors like the MyTouch Slide.

No front facing camera? What is the screen resolution? What is the weight? What is the expected battery life?

In the competative landscape of iPhone 4, EVO and Droid X, Droid II we need devices to really raise the bar. This phone looks like an also ran. 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, 3.2 inch screen, no front camera, no flash…. What am I looking at it for? Its a leader in what catagory? Its a nexus one with a keyboard at best.

Doesn’t it seem weird that Menu button is no longer an icon on new models. Bizarro.
