Rogers Wireless officially launches LG Neon 2

General

Today, Rogers Wireless officially launched the LG Neon 2 feature phone. The device is a pale, full-QWERTY, messaging phone with a 2 megapixel camera with 2x zoom, 3-inch 240 x 400 QQVGA TFT touch-screen display, micro-SD card slot, and Bluetooth. The device does not have an HSPA radio, which is sort of a bummer, but does come with quad-band GSM. The device will set you back a whopping $19.99 CAN with a three-year contract or $174.99 contract free. And now you know…

GSM and no HSPA? I bet it comes to Tmobile in the US. Their 3G can’t be found with a search warrant!

Well at least it looks better than the first but my god the first one was an awful phone. Why bother with another one?

Anyone else notice how LG has a habit of releasing terrible phones and then releasing a second version of it? (LG Vu2)

Rogers hasn’t offered anything decent in quite a while. Last phone that Rogers offered that I wanted was the Curve 8900.

Aiming for the bottom of the barrel, yet it will still fail. Neat-o.
