Chinese website reports specs for HTC Bee, Lexikon, Spark

Rumor

A Chinese website by the name of 911sniper has released the alleged specs of several HTC handsets. The three handsets in question are the HTC Bee, Lexikon, and Spark. As reported… The Bee is an Android 2.2 device with a 3.2-inch screen, 5 megapixel camera (with flash), 528 MHz processor, and HTC’s Sense UI. The Lexikon is another Android 2.2 device with an 800 MHz processor, 3.8-inch WVGA display, QWERTY keypad, 5 megapixel camera, and 512 MB of RAM. The Spark is a Windows Phone 7 device with GSM 2G and 3G radios, 1 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, 2.7-inch WVGA display, 5 megapixel camera and 512 MB of ROM. The device prognostications are not accompanied by any tangible evidence (images, videos, etc.), but do have several Excel-like spec sheets. As with all rumors, we’re a little skeptical. For example, the Spark WP7 device lists the buttons on the handset, and includes a “Send Key” and an “End/Power Key.” The Windows Phone 7 guidelines call for three buttons on the front of the phone (Back, Home, and Search), so unless HTC is trying something new — namely, putting the Power/End and Send buttons on the side of the phone — we’re not sure the report is one-hundred percent accurate. We’ve got 911sniper’s specification crib sheets for you after the bounce. Let us know what you think.

If the HTC Bee has Froyo, why cant a device like the Hero get Froyo, I know alot of people with the Hero and they hate that my Evo has froyo and they dont…

Only read article because of amazing picture. lol Ok entry level devices but we are waiting on something big…1.2ghz 1.5ghz phones.

Wp7, 3.7 inch screen, 512mb ram/rom, 1ghz processor. Definitely an entry level device. We aren’t waiting for 1.2 1.5ghz phones, we’re waiting for our froyo updates, white iphone 4′s, bgr’s evo review, the dualcore processor phone, and 2012

i hope the lexikon goes to sprint

Lexikon doesn’t look bad for AT&T. I’m waiting for a real Droid device from them with a QWERTY keyboard. Hopefully, something like the Lexikon (with hopefully better specs) will show up soon.

“The Spark is a Windows Phone 7 device with GSM 2G and 3G radios, 1 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, 2.7-inch WVGA display…”

Then in the chart, it says 3.7- inch screen. So what is it? I hope they’re not making a phone for midgets!

I’m pretty sure it’s 3.7, a 2.7-in screen is way too small, and I believe there is a screen size requirement of 3.6 inches for WP7.

Why would anyone buy either of the Android phones?

The Legend is due for an upgrade to 2.2 and is better than the Bee and the Desire/Droid Incredible is due for an upgrade to 2.2 and is better than the Lexikon. Seems like these phones will get lost competing against other, already better HTC hardware.

2 Words that set the Lexicon apart
      QWERTY Keyboard.

Not that I want one but for some people it’s a big deal.

They had snipe the specs on the phone as the site’s name suggest. Nothing much to be awed with regards the specs of the phones. I am much awed by the picture. Awesome gear.

I have an HD2 with Froyo. It sucks that part time Devs can get Froyo on my HD2, but multi-million dollar companies can’t get it on their devices.
