webOS tablet coming from HP in Q1 2011?

According to Engadget, “several trusted sources” have informed them that an HP webOS tablet is due out in Q1 of 2011. The report says that HP’s VP of the Personal Systems Group, Todd Bradley, informed employees of the release timeline yesterday during an all-hands meeting. The report goes on to say that the mysterious tablet will be known internally by the code name “Hurricane.” Not a lot to go on here, but if you are a webOS junkie waiting for something bigger than webOS 1.4.5, it’s better than nothing!

    Okay I like HP but this is ridiculous. They were going to be amongst the first to release a win 7 tablet, then they were going to be amongst the first to offer up a decent Android tablet and now they are going to be amongst the last to offer any kind of tablet. Come on HP stop dithering and make a flipping product already.

    HP is just trying to jump on the tablet/iPad bandwagon. WebOS, while being a good OS, didn’t stick. I doubt another tablet with nothing to stand out from the iPad (beside maybe the price) will do any good for HP.

    That’s really amazing news now we can enjoy another Tablet from HP in near future. HP is very famous brand for its durable and reliable products and we hope that this will also be their great creation. This tablet has very elegant and decent design.
