ASUS Windows Phone 7 device gets photographed in Pakistan

General

Not a heck of a lot to report on here, but a picture is worth a thousand words no? This picture of an ASUS device running Windows Phone 7 appeared on Twitter earlier today. The device has the mandated Back, Windows, and Search keys and looks to have a front facing camera in the upper right hand corner (it could be some sort of proximity sensor, it is hard to tell). Let us know if you notice anything else worthwhile in the comments!

Looks like a pretty good design too from that pic. Is this just me or does it look a tad thick? QWERTY keyboard maybe?

If anythuing can possibly knock BlackBerry and OS6 off the top spot of the world’s Smartphones then Windows Mobile 7 will be it.

I just LOVE Windows. I cannot wait to get my hands on several phones running it.

WM7 IS the future of phones until WIndows 7 proper runs on my phone. Oh yes.

RIM and OS 6 are going to knock Blackberry off the top spot. Completely unexciting update to a stale OS, with 2 year old hardware powering it.

Once the handset manufacturers figure out how to make an Android phone that lasts more than 3.5 hours on a charge that platform will really take off.
