Ultrasn0w unlocking tool updated to work with iPhone 4

If you have an iPhone 4, and are itching to use it on another network, the Dev-Team has got you covered. Early this morning, MuscleNerd announced that ultrasn0w unlocking software — version 1.0-1 — has been updated to work with the iPhone 4. The newer, more inclusive version of ultrasn0w will work with iPhone 4 baseband 01.59 and iPhone 3GS/3G basebands 04.26.04, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, and 05.13.04. If you’re itching to port your number (and your iPhone 4) to another network, jailbreak your iPhone, add the repo666.ultrasn0w.com repository to Cydia, install ultrasn0w and enjoy!

    I jailbroje my iPhone 4 running 4.0.1 last night and all day my phone was rebooting. I don’t really care about JB, but I’d rather have stability so I restored.

    I can’t wait for apple to allow 3rd party apps and authorize sales of US unlocked iPhones. No, I’m not going to hold my breath.
