  • ANDROID FTW!!

To ‘Droid X’…like I said; I’m all for Android..regardless of which carrier. But man I think your full of s*%t with talking all big. Get a job man..just look at the amount of times you’ve posted comments here and the things you say. If you even have a job..it’s not a real one probably.

Anyways; go ANDROID..and down iPhone and your little OS that you put a cute “i” in front of…”i” everything huh? Hilarious.

I’m actually on my work network. Senior Insurance Underwriter for a big insurance company. Just passing time and enjoying a chuckle or two before my 11am meeting. You all are so sensitive.
Since when does what I eat make you shit?
How long have you been dealing with insecurity issues? Lets talk about it. I got 20 minutes.

      well said!

SWEET. Fps lock has been lifted. I’m getting 54.3 fps on Need for Speed. Everyone, upgrade immediately. Scrolling is also much much smoother with the faster framerates. All those who said 30fps was adequate were dead wrong.

      Confirmed! Loving it!

    SPRINT GETS IT FIRST??!!

    VERIZON!!!
    WHAT.THE.****!!

Good to know that HTC EVO 4G is now coming to the market with the services of Sprint. HTC are producing very out standing handsets, they are trying to capture the market of cell phones and also giving tough time to the other brands.

To all you people bitching and trying to say Verizon has better service, you do realize Verizon IS Sprints Roaming partner right?

Sprint has 307.00 Mil Pops Vs Verizons 307.5 for voice and 274.7 Vs 295.6 for 3G. Not a big difference and both are far ahead of Tmo and AT&T.

Exactly.. buy sprint and get Verizon roaming.. for no extra sweat…

    • Kevin

So if I go overseas, Verizon is my wireless carrier?

  • U DO

@HTC and @SPRINT you guys rock! I am impressed. When I had Hero with 1.5, Droid got 2.0 and then 2.1 Now my Evo gets 2.2 before anyone else (N1 is from Google)

  • Swagger

    Suck it Verizon

  • ONESLYONE

    Awesome!! Can’t wait.

  • navi

    phone is gorgeous.

  • Swagger

I do not post as anyone else. Swagger is the name I post as. Holla at 2.2, bitches.

  • Emil Ghoting

4G now Android 2.2… this is quite a conundrum comparing the Droid X

  • Justquan2

Well in chicago u can have any of the big 3 in chicago and have good service…. lucky me :-)

  • dnaL0R

i’ll believe it when it goes live; knowing how the 2.1 update went with the HERO…

  • PAPINYC

    Droid X “Didn’t” but “EVO DOES !!!!!!!!!”
    And, so “Does” Sprint !

    YES!

    Love my EVO! :)

  • garymazza

what in the wide world of sports is taking TMO so long to update their MyTouch 3G with Eclair or Froyo?

  • PAPINYC

Because it’s T-Mobile; now partnered with Windowless IMMobile (believe there was a post on this very site). Ironically, first U.S. carrier to offer and promote Android.

I continue to debate with iphone 4 users that EVO 4G is far superior. Browsing is not to different than an actual PC, the speeds at 3G is quick while 4G is awesome, 60% of apps are free, HD cameras on the front and back, 8mp camera, and now with Android 2.2 (froyo), its a clear choice. I don’t even make comparisons anymore because the EVO 4G is just better. I can’t wait for the added features of 2.2!

  • ecuteent

I feel the same exactly vibe waiting until tuesday for froyo that i did waiting for the iphone 3g back in the days

  • Henry Blodget

I’m convinced. I was reluctant initially to get the Evo but it seems to have far fewer bugs than the iPhone 4. That said and the upgrade from Google has convinced me to let go of the iPhone and get myself the Evo.

I chose the Evo over the Droid X, because the Evo has a 4G radio and because it is $40 cheaper than a similar plan on Verizon.

  • Vic

Well now, the truth comes out! That phone just came out and they can upgrade it, with sense, in under a year!

Moral of the story, don’t buy and they’ll get the message.

    • endless

what do you mean don’t buy?

because quite a few people were complaining about not being able to find these in stock anywhere? is that what you mean by dont buy?

      i am confused

  • Duran

I think it’s funny when people see my EVO. They automatically assume it’s Iphone, when they find out they go “all”.

    Clueless, fools…

I know I love saving an extra $40.00 each month with sprint, and come Sept when NFL live is on my EVO 4G…. It will be amazing.

    • Kevin

Can you tell me more about NFL Live? I have an EVO as well. How does NFL Live service work? Will we be able to hear every game?

      • M

Hate to burst ur bubble. Sprint no longer has NFL Live. They have a cheezy version, which is call Sprint Football Live. Which really sucks, because that’s part of the reason I chose Sprint a yr ago. Unfortunately, hate to say it, but Vz currently has the NFL Live contract. My bubble was bursted too…

  • JSIII

Just got my Over the Air Update it takes quite a bit of time to download and install but it is well worth it!

PS: Suck it iPhone, Suck it Verizon WTG HTC & Sprint, I am happy to see sprint finally getting “non lame” phones like the HTC-Evo.
