They have quite some catching up to do if they want to match the add-ons and extensions found in Firefox and Chrome.

I’ll have to give this a try when I get home. It looks like they have a good number of extensions to start off with. It’s nice that they are categorized.

where do I change the theme?

I hope someone makes visual tabs a la Tab Sidebar for Firefox. It’s the only way to browse.

It’s not about catching up. Do you think the Android Market wants to “catch up” to the App Store? Of course not. . .they just need to have a rich enough selection to stop people from using the “not enough apps” criticism as a reason for choosing another handset. Similarly, Apple offers these extensions as a simple response to the “I won’t use any browser that doesn’t offer extensions” crowd. End of story.

So now microsoft is the only one without a good extension offering?

But their excellent browser is installed on nearly everyone’s PC so who cares about Safari – yawn.

        @ rederikus,

Did you really use the term “excellent browser” in reference to IE? Whoa! You must be on the IE team because there is no way any sane user of the Windows platform would refer to IE as “excellent”.

I run firefox on my mac pro but I downloaded and installed the update for security reasons anyway.
