UPDATED: Dell Streak goes on sale tomorrow in U.S.

You can’t pre-order yourself a Dell Streak anymore, but that really doesn’t matter all that much. According to the company’s website, you can purchase your new Dell Streak — regular order style — beginning tomorrow. The Streak’s pre-order page has been updated, and now reads:

Our Dell Streak pre-sale sign-up opportunity is no longer available. Please visit http://www.dell.com/streak tomorrow to purchase your Dell Streak.

Anyone have plans to pick one up?

UPDATE: Our friends from Dell were kind enough to reach out and let us know that the Streak will in-fact not be released tomorrow. Apparently — according to Dell — the web team was testing “future” versions of the Streak webpage and several pages accidentally went live for about an hour (including the one pictured above saying you can purchase the device tomorrow). Dell still has not provided an official release date for the 5-inch handset… back to the waiting game!

    Wow. Dell is shooting itself in the foot. They need to get the release date straight. All this messing around is turning me off to actually purchasing this product.

    Well Dell, Today’s (Fri. 30th) next to last day of July, so if you’re going to have a 24 hr. pre-sale by the end of July, as you SAID several times, it’s time to sh.t or get off the pot !?! Sure am getting use to my Samsung Captivate. Have several more friends & family holding out to @least check out the Streak & give it a chance. Chance is starting to run very very thin !?! Captivate
