Apple's iPhone 4 Case Program, there's an app for that

We’re not kidding, there is actually an app for that. Apple’s iPhone 4 Case Program page is now live. Those who already purchased an iPhone 4 and Apple bumper can hit up the new site to check the status of their rebate, users waiting for their free case can “Download the iPhone 4 Case Program app from the App Store” and select a case at no charge. Have a look for yourself.

    Iphone 4 is flawed but other phones are too. Your not some diety cause you have an iphone 4. Your probably a douche who feels like wasting money and wouldn’t know a quality product if it hit you in the face.

    Android owners need to calm down. Just cause the iphone 4 is pretty much the most popular phone on the market and the most talked about, doesn’t mean that you have to lash out and bash the phone to prove a point. What are you 12 years old?

    Android OS is superior in several ways but sometimes difficult to use for some people. IOS is simple, sexy, and very user friendly. Why not try one or the other before you bash it?

      I agree – I have an iPhone because after using a friends DROID I was less than impressed with it’s implementation. I’m in IT so I could handle the DROID but it just wasn’t ‘put together’ as well. Now this was not the new 2.2 OS so I’m sure it’s much better.

      Overall I think the iPhone feels like a higher quality phone and the user experience is much smoother. Also we have some ipods and another iPhone so staying with Apple/iTunes just makes it all easier to balance.

      Stop the bashing everyone, it’s getting old and pathetic.

      I have used the following handsets before switching to iPHone 4:

      BB Storm/Verizon: [A mess--really bad OS/Touchscreen]
      BB Tour/Verizon: [Unreliable, old OS, had to replace it 3 times]
      Motorola Droid: [Useless as a business phone because of its lousy implementation of EAS. User interface of 2.0 and 2.01---AWFUL. Took 5 key strokes to do something that should take 1]
      Pal Pre Plus/Verizon: [Absolutely Beautiful OS--Perfect. But, lack of support from key developers and awful hardware.]

      That takes me to the iPhone. AT&T in NYC turns out to be as good as Verizon and the data speeds are faster.

    I just switched to Sprint from Verizon (in NYC); I agree with you on the Storm (SUCKS) and somewhat on the Tour, as for the Palm Pre, no experience – no comment. I do know, however, AT&T sucks in Union Square, Upper East Side, Lower East Side, and certain parts of Upper West Side and even with a Bumper Case and Duct Tape. No problems yet (since June 4th) anywhere in Manhattan with the EVO. I’ve also gone to Brooklyn, Bronx, and Yonkers without any problems.

    this device doesnt need a case. it works fine without it. however, i have no problem taking a free one. and while all the droid users are whining about “apple this” or “apple that”, steve jobs still CANT keep this product on the shelf. consumer reports show, nobody wants to hear what you guys have to say.

    The iphone will be the only phone for me from now on. I had the 3g and changed over to a Nokia PDA. After a month I dumped that PDA and went back to my new iphone 4. There are just too many great things about the iphone and the technology to want to switch to anything else again. I’ll suffer with the little bit of problems until they can be corrected. It just isn’t worth it to goe elsewhere. The new video calling is the bomb. Apple has just got it right!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I was very excited until I found out all the cases are black or grey :( no love for the ladies! I wanted the purple speck case or a pink or white bumper at least…..

    I got a confirmation in regards to my free bumper after i ordered it via the bumber app and it STATED THAT IT WILL SHIP SEPTEMBER 20 FOR A SEPTEMBER 23 DELIVERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTFFFFFFFFFFFF

    absolutely amazing how you ‘sheep’ fawn over every single thing Apple and Steve do…even if they bend you over and screw you.

    iPhone is a dummies phone, very simple to use, one touch operation. THAT is why it does so well, NOT because it’s OS is superior in any fashion. I’m using an iTouch btw. I have double the memory you could wish to have and no shitty cell service. I’ll stick with my TMobile Samsung Vibrant and it’s Gig processor and 16Gig built in memory..how does it feel to have 3G iNoobs when it’s ‘old hat’ already?

    Give me my HSPA with Unlimited Minutes and Text for $35 a month less than ATT’a comparible rate plan and crap network.

    I bought a IPhone 4 case from AT&T. I was told I could fill out the rebate form on the Apple store and get a rebate. Well, Apple is only giving a rebate for 6 specific bumpers – not cases. This is a disingenuous offer from Apple. Their bean counters have probably figured out they will limit the cost/exposure by making people wait weeks for cases and limiting the models they will reimburse. Apple is acting like a medical insurance company. I am so disappointed in Jobs. Maybe he should go back on medical leave

    Problem is, the iPhone is flawed for all the reasons that I least suspected before buying it. I don’t care about the reception, it only happens when my signal is low anyway.

    What I hate is the ‘big lie’. I always heard my buddies (and everyone else) talk about how great the UI was. How it was so consistent. That is bull crap.

    I have developed such a Love/Hate with my iPhone 4 that it is crazy. Some stuff is so cool but then something like using my finger to flick through emails (Apple’s app BTW) does not work that way–WTF?? Really. Oh, just use that little arrow. Even my old Windows Mobile 5.0 let me do that man.

    Anyway, Apple is getting slammed now because they (and all the Fan Bois) have put themselves on a pedestal so high you need Oxygen tanks to go there. Of course they are going to get flamed when the gates of Odin come crashing down!
